You really would think I'd have better things to do with my time, but hey ho, here we are. There were 40 games reviewed. The average for the boys was 3.5 and the girls came in at 3.8. So yeah, Violet was basically right. Boys scores/game count: 1 - 1 2 - 4 3 - 14 4 - 16 5 - 5 Girls scores/game count: 1 - 0 2 - 0 3 - 11 4 - 22 5 - 7
I've only recently discovered this channel, but thank god I did. The editing and commentary is hilarious. It must have taken ages to put this all together, but I am so glad you did. Keep up the good work, looking forward to working my way through your back catalogue 👍
2:26:48 - Now the ball's in my court. Violet scans in Jaw Breaker, who has 4000 HP. The device is in either C1 or C2 mode, and now that it has a Warrior scanned in, it's waiting for a Wizard card. A Wizard card that Violet never picks up. So when she scans in the barcode from the cornflakes box and claims it gives her "4000 energy points", nothing has actually happened and she's just reading out Jaw Breaker's HP stat.
Hey I just wanted to comment to share my appreciation for the stuff you make, I started watching this straight after seeing your gamesmaster series and they have been so helpful over last few days for chill watching and laughs while dealing with insomnia Not sure how to describe it but your comedic style, commentary and editing combined with the cozy nostalgia of looking at older media has been such a joy and I appreciate you showing me something I wouldn't have discovered otherwise Cheers for all the effort you do and excited to check out next episodes
Wow I used to watch this as a teenager...not so much by choice... more from lack of TV options, although looking back, the 90s were a golden age for gaming and this and Games Master were classics! Your dry humour really made it hilarious! Nam Rood definitely looks like he was a skinhead extra in edgy French noir classic La Haine (1995).
On episode 8 when they sent Violet to Japan, Japan has extremely strict rules on where you can film, I imagine that was just as strict if not worse back in the 90's. If you're shooting on a street in Tokyo for example, you have to get permission from every single business on that street to film there, so I imagine they probably couldn't get a lot of filming done whilst they were there or possibly hadn't done their research and discovered there was very little they could film at all.
Even as 9 year old who loved watching gamesmaster, I couldn’t sit through this show as a kid because the feeling of cringe was just too painful to bear.
You are really, really, really good. Very well written and presented! Watched all 4 seasons of BBI (lazy) and gonna see what else you've got! Excellent stuff.
I'm so glad I came across your content, scouting through the internet to find new things to watch can be so hit and miss but I've certainly found a hit here and one for which I'm sticking around for. Also, you've almost killed me off a few times making me laugh like an absolute mad man but if there's a way to go, it's not the worst 😂
Andy looks like one of the Weasley twins. I had totally forgotten about this program and man, does it really show that the target audience was younger than what Games Master targeted. Great vid though, had me chuckling all the way through.
just stumble across your channel i don't even remember this show i grow up watching CITV i be 40 this year love gamemaster i remember Gamesville back on sky one
Totally Mesozoic! Me and my brothers basically took the piss out of this even back in the day. Just had a great evening watching your vid 😂. Ghost girl and Anti Violence boy are my favourite. I too was terrified by Terrahawks!
I did actually used to video tape my Mario paint masterpieces. Also played bill & Ted on the gameboy too. Love these videos, great trip down memory lane with awesome commentary, kept me in hysterics the whole way through. Big thanks to the video creators for this.
Yes ....Nams name was actually explained by the actor that played him (think it was in the magazine but i cant remember, it only lasted 2 issues though so probably not) But it IS a play on how he lets you in the "back door" with his cheats ...hence Door Man
2:17:25 The kid behind Andy on the right. I always kind of assumed the kids were probably playing something but that kid is looking right into the camera while he's pretending to play.
Well, my morning has taken an unexpected twist. Here I thought I was going to be productive but no... I'm going to watch reviews of 90s british television.
i might be wrong but i think Violet is responsible for the media kickback on false clams and scare tactics. shes always been a great voice in the gross media of misinformation.
Wow as a kid you were so excited just to see a glimpse of games and consoles that you didn't realize that these shows were probably created by people who had no clue about kids or games or anything. Classic stuff !
Eh. This really feels like it was produced by people who knew kids well, it's CITV ofc, and games reasonably well. But it's desperate to be edgy in that 90s way and feels cheap and slapped together a bit.
Thank you so much for this! I loved Bad Influence when it was on. Such a wonderful antidote to what passes for TV out there. THIS is why UA-cam was invented :)
The reappearing Ghost Girl is laugh out loud funny every time 🤣 (oh, and btw.. i had a SuperVision with the free game Crystball - and it was wonderful ‼)
This is a good video. It’s very playable. The graphics are really good and the music isn’t annoying. I had a lot of fun and I would recommend it to everyone. My only complaint is that it’s not violent enough. I like this sort of thing. 5 stars.
I'd just managed to get my four year old off to sleep. The problem was she was in my arms on the couch, proper uncomfy position and I decide to put this video on. I lasted 1 minute before i was in the middle of uncontrollable laughter, trying my best but to no avail to supress it. She woke up. I blamed earth's oldest teenager and his no-no bits. Feck me you're a funny bloke. Thanks for this absolute gold content.
Your commentary is hilarious and, frankly, the only way I can get through the poor, naff, kiddy version of Gamesmaster... not a single 🐓 joke in sight...
Ha loved this. Although slightly disturbed that Andy Crane is only 12 years older than me....when I was a kid he seemed ancient. How does that work?! 🤣
How do I have no knowledge of this show ever existing? I was the right age at the time, but have no recollection of this ever being on tv. Yes, I did watch Gamesmaster
I do remember King Arthur's World. Heck, I have a rip of that midi on my phone as an unused ringtone. One of those ones I had from aeons ago, but never really used for very long and just switched to something else. I never knew it was surround sound and thinking back, I don't know how this would have worked as I don't remember the SNES having more than white and red audio connectors for left and right channel. I do also remember the game being pretty fun.

I won't rest until Violet, Andy, the studio audience and fuck it, even Fresh are dragged kicking and screaming into a studio and they give me the exclusive on Rock Drummer 2. I'm not letting Bad Influence of all things be the genesis of trolling!

Anyone complaining about influencers in the modern day really should think about just how many boys ended up buying the shitty Watara Supervision handheld just because Violet Berlin had a crackin' pair of legs.
I have heard of someone else using "jurassic" as a slang term, but it was Alan Partridge and I always assumed it was meant to make him seem weird and lame, but for reasons entirely divorced from being a middle aged man trying and failing to use kid's slang from more than a decade previous. Maybe they were trying to gaslight kids with a brand appropriate catchphrase, what with the two mascots being dinosaurs/scalies.

"I have A U T! I S M!"
This is amazing. You have had me laughing for hours. I watched the Games Master binge, and then I came straight to this.
Rolf Harris. 😅 I'm fn dead
I spat out my drink when you said Nam Rood was a cross between a skinhead and a snooker player. Well played.
No you never.
I thought it was Lex Fridman before he started shilling for right wing tech bros.
Reminds me of a knock off Ade Edmondson
The snooker player being Ronnie O’Sullivan
He looks like Alexei Sayle with aids
Nam Rood was like an off-brand Adrian Edmondson.
Guess you could say they reached the…BOTTOM…of the barrel…👀
They probably asked him to do it, and he told them to piss off.

Brilliant video. Thank you. The commentary had me laughing all the way through. I had completely forgotten about this program.
I've watched these episodes to death but this is a great excuse to... do it again! Thanks for the commentary!

I get where you're coming from. It's too tame for my liking.
Violet was bang tidy.
This was pretty jurassic.

😂😂😂😂The commentary is top tier!
Drifted asleep to this after eating too much cheese in a hotel in Estonia, funny old life!

I can't believe that at aged 44, I learned that "Nam Rood" was "Door man" backwards. That being said, it wasn't exactly relatable for a 12 year old. 😂
Same😂😂😂
This is comedic gold. Top work, keep it up.
Pure comedy gold. Thanks for doing these.
This is a Jurassic moving screenshot. I Love your channel, it brings back so many memories 👍🏻
I think violet always wears silky tights and jean shorts so the dads will watch it too.
This is fantastic love the commentary

Nothing like having childhood memories ruined by a grumpy, sarcastic Northerner... Triassic!
A while ago, I looked up 'furtler'. It is someone who cuts holes in life-size standees and, erm, enjoys themselves. Nam Rood was next level.
So if I purchased a life size cardboard cut out of rachel riley and put in a flesh light in the correct area, would I be close to your description?
Furtler means Techie. Not sure what you were looking up but it isn't that 😂
@TJCGAMING01 Oh! Well, I looked it up in the 90s as a teenager with no internet. It's possible I was misinformed! Yikes.
Alan Partridge exclaimed "Jurassic Park" as a superlative.

Seeing Axelay in ep 4 inspired a life long itch that i've only fairly recently scratched
To Andy's credit he's really looked after himself, as if you see him today he looks EXACTLY the same.
