Howdy gamers! this video is up to date for the 2024 dungeon rush event, it is the same as last year's one when this video was made! happy gaming
They really need to make story mode into a npc assisted adventure and merge them into your character's base story. So many people flew past them without ever noticing them.
yeah it's a bit unfortunate that to this day many longtime players aren't even aware just how intertwined the dungeon stories are with the original personal story and how relevant and lore heavy they are to the world of Tyria
It's been so long since I've done dungeons properly, paying attention to the story and dialogs, that I think I'll take advantage of this! Anet should do this at least once a year!!
yiss! I actually also noticed myself enjoying them more again when I stopped trying to speedrun em and actually listen to the story and get immersed!
And yeah they may do! they have been doing a lot more quick little events like this recently like fractal rush and wvw rush and hopefully they continue!
IT was Nice And quite funny to run with all 530 mastery all legendary geared ppl who have no idea what to do in 5 minute dungeon😃😃😃. Nostalgic
Can i join in even im low level and no exotics?
absolutely! These dungeons were actually intended to be done as you level up when they were first implimented and you can do the first one at level 30 and each next dungeon has a higher reccomended level until max level.
The general power level of the game has increased substansially as well since they were added so even in terrible gear they shouldnt pose too much of a threat

wish they would update the dungeon sets visually. They are some of the coolest in the game (especially nightmare & aran) but their textures are over a decade old now. I'm passing on the event because the rewards are meh and the cape is ugly. But if they visually updated the dungeon sets, then I'd be grinding dungeons non-stop
The power creep obliterates Dungeon runs. Plus all you get rewarded for finishing it is an ugly looking cape 😁
you also get a bunch of dungeon currency as well as you will also complete some other dungeon achievements like "dungeon frequenter" which gives you even more dungeon currency and an additional 5 gold for every 8 unique paths you do 😊 but there are certainly plenty of other things you could do if you don't enjoy dungeons of course
@@ieatyoulol I have 5.7k dungeon currencies that I still hold from back when dungeons were still popular, and I don't even care about it, and I'm sure many veteran players don't. This is only good for the newer players to experience and they would probably not return after finishing this one as you seldom see anyone on LFG these days running dungeons.

yes unfortunately you missed the dungeon event but my personal favorite event of the year just started today! Wintersday is here and the Christmas vibes be flowing
Or you could simply do DRMs. Easier and faster with the same rewards.
indeed! I forgot to mention Dragon Response Missions also count towards the achievements and getting the bonus dungeon currency so thats an option if you enjoy those
