- This ADU is in the Globeville area of Denver, Colorado, and was just recently completed in August. Originally this lot was not zoned for an accessory dwelling unit, but after a variance was submitted to the City of Denver, the lot was rezoned to accommodate an ADU.
There are plans for this to be used as extra space for family and friends, but there is also the potential of it being used as a long-term rental.
Join us as L&D's Sarah Senderhauf walks us through this newly built ADU and breaks down the key concepts and design details.

: / Hi, My comments are directed to the lady who was showing this home. I dont mean to offend or insult her in anyway by saying what i want to say, but i do think she needs to hear it. ( if she is going to continue to represent this design company and make videos like this? )
My complaints are that starting with the outside at the beginning of this video, this lady mentions the street location of this property. She says it again when she got into the house too. I think this is very wrong, because you do not want to be giving everyone on the internet private peoples home address or location. By saying the name of the street that this property is located on? You are giving everyone this location! There are enough crazy people out in the world doing bad things, you dont need to be helping any of them!!!! And im sure the lady who owns this property is not going to like that either! : / The second complaint continues with the beginning of my first complaint, the lady in this video did not show the whole design on the outside. She stook right at the back talking, then went over to the stair case and talked about the wires for a few minutes then when up the stairs. She didnt show the viewers the little side right near the entrance to the stairway. so the viewers only got to see the back and the side of the stairs.. Again, once this lady takes us into the stairway, she doesnt show the ceiling, only a quick shot, and doesnt show the stairs at all. This cuts short the full designs of the stairway, and the whole designs of the wall and stairs and ceiling of the stairway. Not good for buissness, or for making a thorough video! Once again, she does this when she gets inside the home. only showing the kitchen, then the laundry room ( in two sequences ) then back to the living room where she is talking about the paint color grey, and does a quick film edit of the bedroom and bathroom! She never did a complete WALK THROUGH of all the rooms.. She didnt show the bathroom completely and explain the different designs of the bathroom, and didnt go into the bed room at all. just a quick edited shot of the bedroom when she was talking about the color of the paint, starting in the living room. : / THEN IT WAS OVER! THE END... I was very disappointed with this showing! I hope this lady gets better instruction on how to show a home and property and specifically the designs! Because that is the buissness of showcasing the home build and design, to attract future customers right?!!! Right!

HE OR SHE IS SADLY MISTAKEN! : ) MAYBE I HAVE A EXPERIENCE IN PROTECTING PEOPLE FROM BAD PEOPLE! MAYBE I AM JUST BEING A CONCERNED, TRAINED PERSON WHO WANTS TO MAKE PEOPLE AWARE OF HOW EASY IT IS TO CREATE SERIOUS POTENTIAL PROBLEMS FOR THEMSELVES AND HOW TO PREVENT THAT! YES TO ALL THE ABOVE! NOT MAYBE! AND YOU ARE A MORON FOR YOUR RESPONSE TO THAT!
