@Parker930 nah I prefer this voice way more than that trained vibrato she does now. I miss this spirit spunk and voice of Madonna. That lady is gone though. Like Micheal and so many others something about being basically isolated for decades that slowly makes them kinda nuts and wierd.
@@esabelcri nope, not true sometimes she probably stressed out her vocal chords, Freddie would jump and run, axl rose would hit those lows and high while running and etc and still be in pitch even after smoking a cigarette, lol but her other live shows she's on point.

OMG, I so recall this song and video in 1986. The official video. The one that ran on MTV. When MTV actually played music videos. This song blasted on my boom box back in 1986. I was 16 years old and this video and song played constantly on my tv and boom box. I had such a major crush on her at this age. Recall seeing this video repeatedly in high school. This video....just.....memories....much love and respect. That scene with the the boy and Madonna dancing at the end, I wished that my 16 year old self was that boy at the time. I would have loved if it was me instead of that younger boy. Video was just epic in the 80's. So many memories.... That gentle and innocent kiss she gave the boy, I wish it was me back when I was 16 years old. So, precious.
The opening riff to to this song just touches my heart. I experienced this song when I was 16 years old and recall seeing the official video multiple times and I was just in love with Modonna. The video was just so well done and I could not take my eyes off the tv when it was playing back then. Great memories...
Look at this young girl who chose to rise up from her ashes and achieve greatness! She overcame her obstacles and became a shining star that rules the world! And she continues to rule decades later to this day and beyond! Look at this amazing star that shines so brightly, totally embodying freedom and joy and exploding with liberation!!! Look at this incredible talent bombing the world with her life and her beauty!!! Look at this legend!!! Look at her magnificent Destiny being bursting into manifestation before our eyes! What an amazing blessing and privilege it is for us to witness such a transformative and powerful miracle! Such a transformation of life and spirit and of the world followed! Who is that Girl?! She is QUEEN MADONNA 👑👑👑👑 😱😱😱😱✨✨✨✨👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️
What a legend! Saw this awesome, punchy opener live Shoreline Amp MV in '87...one of the best shows I've seen by anybody...Madonna & drummer "Sugarfoot" Jonathan Moffett - Rock N Roll baby!!
I saw Madonna on her "Who's That Girl" tour at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California on July 21st, 1987. She began her set with this song. Level 42 was the opening act. Her show the previous night was covered by the San Francisco Chronicle, which printed a front-page photo with a two-word caption: "She's Hot!"
I saw her in Atlanta. The Omni. Now the home of Phipps Arena. 1987. This really was the game changer as compared to Blond Ambition. Not just a pop concert. Theatre. The moving sidewalk was amazing. So creative. Does the work. A tremendous catalogue of music now. A legend. One of my all time favorite tours. After this, she rose to that highest level of fame and scrutiny which is where she now collects mail. An American woman from the Midwest. Brava.
This is giving me chills. She's so fucking amazing❤️. Just by how her body looks so muscular and tone you can tell how hard of a worker she is. I love how this song brings out the dancer she truly is. ❤️❤️❤️
Her body is unnaturally masculine, over trained and under fed. She has no tits or hips and her arse is non existent. This boyish figure was fashionable in the eighties thanks to her, and many teens got eating disorders and died as a result. A woman's body should have some softness - Madonna is as soft as an ironing board, and about as sexy!
@@Robert-dk8gv You're literally the most pitiful creature that ever lived - a gay man with no style! You owe the world a huge apology for being so disappointing.
Madonna's stage presence though, she always exuded big rockstar energy that was larger than life; that’s what set her apart from so many of her peers that relied on the usual pop shticks too much
Pour moi Madonna est la plus grande Star du Monde !!! J'adore tout ce qu'elle fait !!! c'est une Sainte des Temps Modernes qui ce bat contre le racisme, l'homophobie et les injustices !!! Beaucoup de respect !!!

The beautiful live performances by Madonna and her band back then were so much better than all the stupid lip singing in the latter part of the 90s into today. That was when pop was pop.
Not exactly live, see 7:42 where her vocals are doing the extended "...key...' but she's holding her microphone way off to the side. Not to take away from her overall performance which is greatly entertaining, but its so obvious something is up.
No autotune, no social media..just a few bucks, a dream, and a lot of hard work!! Mad respect always! Happy Birthday, Madonna!
One of if not the best pop song of all time.
Approved also one of the best vocals live
Agree
I wish i was there.,
that intro open your heart is iconic
Madonna has the best and most fantastic concert shows. She is a true musician and entertainer.
Anyone else get chills when you saw this amazing performance! The woman rules hands down! !!!!!
Her band was fantastic too. I love the drums on this. The great Jonathan Moffett.
Drums greater than life
That comment kinda gave me a little bit of a chubby
Sugarfoot!
Yup...saw Jonathan Moffett at a drum clinic early 90's...one of my favorite drummers of all time...total groovemeister...
Drummed for MJ also.
This was the real Madonna here
Her body is just incredible 😍

134k people at her concert in Paris!
Still remains one of the biggest audience for a paid female concert tour EVER
She's so light on her feet. It's remarkable.
SYNTHESIZERS! PURE 80S! I love it!
To move around the stage and still sing the entire song without fault is amazing. New found respect for this lady.
"Without fault"? Ha ha ha...her voice is shaky and flat througout. But at least we know she's not faking it like so many others.
Matt Celis yea and the reason why her voice is “shaky and flat” is cause she’s moving and dancing around a lot.

The Greatest Performer of All-Time: Madonna
She’s great but not THE GREATEST, that’s Michael Jackson for sure!
EvilTurkey he’s repetitive. Madonnas the best. If you see a dance once you’ll never see it again with her. Michael is a different story
