I attended this show in Detroit (Pontiac Silverdome). It was fire! To me, Madonna was in her purest musical form then. This tour, and the Blonde Ambition tour, had a rawness that I no longer see in her performances. Her vocal presentation, the band, the energy of the background singers and dancers all united to present a feel-good show with a great talent at the helm!

This performance shows her strength and stamina as a performer. It's amazing how she was able to keep up with the music vocally as she dance up a storm on stage. It's also hilarious how she was able to incorporate that red cloth thrown at her from out of the blue into her dance routine. Quick thinking, Madge!

The studio version is a little frigid, meaning there's not so much beat, drum and bass, energy and overall power like this particular live performance which is BRILLIANT BEYOND ANYTHING!!! So, I think that's why it didn't get that far and didn't break out like the many others genius M hits!

To me Madonna has always shined brighter whenever people have counted her out ir said she was washed up. True blue Blnd ambition vogue bedtime stories music Superbowl. Etc. It really is great to see her genuinely connect with the music band dancers and her fans. She looked amazing she sang from a place that was authentic while fully enjoying what she was doing and how she was doing it. I hardly believe she's done she's definitely got more to say and we're waiting patiently for that next hip head Bopper. Come on Madonna come on Madonna. With love

The Movie House version was so groundbreaking for its time. Apparently it was the first house remix by a mainstream artist, that was back when house music was still pretty underground.
