There's a zero point zero percent chance I'd do an install like this - plus my '19 450 adjust has a heated steering wheel - but I watched that video front to back. It was like watching a surgeon operate! 👍👍 Congrats to the owner, they're gonna love that feature on cold mornings.
Better than factory with all the pride and care taken to ensure 💯% customer satisfaction is achieved every time. Good luck finding that kind of quality and consistency at any stealership! Unfortunately now-a-days, folks just don’t exemplify YOUR “no stone left unturned” sense of pride in their workmanship. Thank you for taking the time to document these full comprehensive repairs/modifications and upgrades. Your relentless work ethic is larger than life…much love Big Dogg! Wishing your customer a safe & toasty journey back home to the Garden State.
Nice work Azz👍 informative as always, love ya work. Surprise surprise dealership not giving the customer the correct information. Educating the masses as an independent awesome 👍👍👍
Great vid I’m looking for the exact wheel part # in your video I didn’t catch the part number. Where you get the instructions from? Grabbed all the other part numbers thanks
I remember ordering my 22' and almost missing the heated steering wheel option, because it was bundled in as part of the rain sensing wiper blade option. Very confusing and easy to overlook.
From Downriver Mi. Riverview to be exact. Working at the blue oval facility here in Tennessee. Bought my first Diesel truck 2017 F350 lariat brought it back to the house I'm renting , been here since January. Took about 3 weeks to get registered plates etc...First time I drive it truck gives an adaptive steering fault and my wheel turned 90 degrees . I'm pretty handy and I can I'm sure do the fix except that there is no info on what my problem can be. Willing to buy forscan to look at electronics etc.. couldn't figure out without tearing everything apart why my wheel turned I figured some sort of motor in steering column. Any help greatly appreciated or where I can find info. Thanks great videos by the way.
My 2022 king ranch heated wheel quit a loooong time ago. Thought my 150k extended would cover it. I’m now at 105000, stopped working at about 30k, i should have got it fixed.
That sounds fishy. I'm sure you can ohm out the heat element inside the wheel to determine if it is shot or if it's an issue w\ one of the (too)many computers all over the damn place in these things controlling every single thing! Why doesn't the extended warranty cover that? Sounds like the dealer may be the actual problem. Go see Arod! 👍🏻👌🏻🤔🛠️🔧🔌🔋🛢️🚚
Will this work for 17-22 or just 20-22 superduties? Does it work for all trim levels? I assume the harness is from limitlessautoworks but I'm not seeing it on their site.
Think there’s a customer satisfaction campaign going on for some trucks that has ford installing these in the ones that were left out during production. I haven’t looked at it, though so idk the details or if any $$$ is associated with getting it done.
Lol, why not. I'd love to have the heated steering wheel in my '00 7.3 zf6 f250xl!You can do whatever you want to your truck & these kind of customization things are what I love so much about these superduties.. I love how the basic body was the same from e'99 til 2015 and you can add things that weren't available when your truck got built but with all the aftermarket support they have you can do heated king ranch seats, interior & everything to go w\ it in a '99 -'00 that never had it available from the factory to begin with. There's so many guys\co's out there to help w\ the electrical parts now too. @SwapHelper, @Zachary McFarlin, @LimitlessAuto, @Ryan_Ind, and all the rest out there(so many I can't recall right now) doing it. And now this next generation Alumiduty's are just on a whole nother level as far as upgrades & electronic goodies are concerned. it's crazy, but you're also paying $75 - $100k for them now too. I guess I'll stick w\ my '00 7.3 that I bought for $1k a few years ago, for now. Maybe in a few years I can get into a newer used one, or win the lotto so I can order a brand new $100+k superduty! 🤔👍🏻👌🏻🛠️🔧
You know how they treated us supercab buyers back in 17... not available on this model. I have a loaded lariat, I imagine this is near $7-800 with labor. Am I close?
2020 F350 install NOW!! ua-cam.com/video/mOAByooDE6A/v-deo.html
How expensive is it to install a factory sliding rear window in a truck with a solid rear window?

Another nice and clean job from Arod, Thanks!
Nice work Azz👍 informative as always, love ya work.
Surprise surprise dealership not giving the customer the correct information.
Educating the masses as an independent awesome 👍👍👍
The super long HVAC zip ties are great for pulling wires through the dash. Push it through, tape the wire on and pull back.
Great vid I’m looking for the exact wheel part # in your video I didn’t catch the part number. Where you get the instructions from? Grabbed all the other part numbers thanks
It’s almost as if you know how to work on these Fords!
Great job Arod!! Clean as F!! As usual!
I enjoy mine on 23 F350 Lariat in cold mornings.
I remember ordering my 22' and almost missing the heated steering wheel option, because it was bundled in as part of the rain sensing wiper blade option. Very confusing and easy to overlook.
One thing I wish my 2015 came with.
Aaron i love all the nice work you doing. You are a real Ford theck 😃😃😍❤❤
Very nice video and explanation! Really like how you make it look like this was done at the factory.
That loom was a little different from your truck. If I remember right yours got power from the trailer brake module!
7” here in Indy so far
Hey I'm trying to do this to my 2020 f150, I have steering wheel, module. Looking for harness. Also where are you located?
Info is in the description

Where do you get the harness from Ryan?
Yes
I wish you were in NJ
The video guy was from NJ & I just gathered all the info for another NJ guy last night
ARod, do you know if the Ford oval logo on the steering wheel air bag portion is removable and if so, how?
...............watch the video man for the air bag....oval, no it does not come off
Can i do this same install on my 23 Xlt f350?
Only if u have the 8 inch touch screen radio
Can you help with the part number for that wheel. I have everything else but must have ordered the wrong wheel
Best to try the dealer
Will this mod work on a 2021 F250 equipped with adaptive steering?
This mod is for all alumidutys with any option the truck came with
Can a heated steering wheel go in a 2018 jeep Laredo?
Beats me
Dang Arod!!! Awesome tutorial!!!
I wish the 17-19 with adaptive steering weren't still back ordered. I'm on month 2 now. My element is out so it's not fun.
Damn
Boy i wish youd send me that old wheel you took off. My steering wheels finish is gone, not sure what the previous owner did but its messed up lol
Shhhooot customer gets all old pwarts
Is this possible to be done on a 2011? Really would like to do it!
Ehhhh, maybe
Part numbers/links for wheel and everything else?
.....did you watch the video
ARod, do you only work on Ford's or is that just your specialty? Very nice job.
I'd prefer fords
I wish they made an A/C steering wheel!
Will this work for 17-22 or just 20-22 superduties? Does it work for all trim levels?

Yes it wld work! Harness info is in video description
Heated would be nice. My 20 xlt came with a terrible rubber or plastic wheel. What’s the leather wheel part number?
It varys between trucks. Between 500 & 800
I was told you cannot do this upgrade for trucks with adaptive steering.
I don't believe that to be true. Those wheels are like $3k tho for JUST the wheel
Think there’s a customer satisfaction campaign going on for some trucks that has ford installing these in the ones that were left out during production. I haven’t looked at it, though so idk the details or if any $$$ is associated with getting it done.
I don't know I can't confirm that man
What's the total cost for parts and install. I'm up for a road trip
Depends on your wheel. You'd have to email us with your vin so we can match up the correct one.
Too expensive, but I should probably watch the video first. 😆
Heated wheel might not vibe with crank windows and ZF6.

That's just for the wheel bruh
About how much did this mod run?
Depends on ur wheel...
I got lucky my 22 SD has it buuuutttt not my 23 Raptor so when its cold I drive my cheap Rebel that also has it
Shot you an email. I could use a good road trip
