Ancient Greece - Most Famous Sites 3D Reconstruction Trailer (Athens, Olympia, Sparta etc.)

- This is a video trailer of our 3D reconstructions of 9 famous places of ancient Greece. Soon, for each of them, we will release a detailed video tour with a description. We can see what ancient Athens, Sparta, Olympia (as well as Zeus statue by Phidias), Epidaurus, Messini, Corinth, Heraion of Argos, Mycenae and Tiryns looked like.
Most of the places are reproduced as of the 2nd century AD, when Greece was already part of the Roman Empire, and when the traveler Pausanias compiled his famous guide to the places of ancient Greece, which still serves as an invaluable source of information for us.
This project is carried out in parallel with our main project "Rome in 3D", and will not affect the speed of the release of videos in Rome.

Thanks for your work this is amazing
Truly amazing! Great job😍
Thank youuu!! :)
This is exactly the kind of stuff I wanna see. No pressure, but I can’t wait to see all of these in proper videos!
Thanks! Will be!
Congratulations, great video. You're the first channel I've seen that has done Sparta and Argos. The only disappointment I have with this video is it should have been longer say fifteen minutes. I'm hoping you can do a longer one in the near future covering the same cities.
Thanks! As I've said - it is a trailer only) A number of more detailed video tours will be released relatively soon!
Wow. Thank you.
WE all live to see ancient Greece.
And, though nothing is left Sparta was magnifico!
From the Left COAST, usa

Grateful for these video clips. Brings classical places to life ( even if no one is home! )

It is beautiful, but I had the impression Sparta had no walls. It was considered a weakness by them.
It is Sparta in Roman times.
Grandiose. Our Roots, The Roots Of Western Civilization! Thank you, this is really high and worthwhile work.
Спасибо!
I would love to see a reconstruction of Philippi. If I have missed it, could you please tell me which video may have it?
Fantastic work. Thank you.
Go video in 4k= millions views very good!
Wow Amazing
Thanks!
MARAVILLOSO...!!! Me emocioné al ver la puerta de Micenas... Muchas gracias por compartir...!!!
Thanks!
Wow! This is really going to be something.. All your restorations have an incredible amount of quality and I can't wait to see you cover even more ancient Greek monuments (like the island of delos, the tomb of amphipoli, the Agai palace at vergina etc). I have one question though. In this trailer we get a highly detailed and specific version of ancient Sparta. From what I know there is not much evidence of how this city looked like because most of it was destroyed and the structures were made from materials like wood that did not leave any traces even as ruins. Is there something that I missed? Can you please tell me your sources on this one because I like restorating ancient architecture too, and Sparta is a really interesting topic for me.
Our reconstruction of Sparta is mainly based on Pausanius description, you’re right - there are very few remainings from the actual structures of the city itself.
@@historyin3d Oh, I see. Looking forward to watching a full video dedicated to this city. Keep up the great work!
Super!
Thank you!
Hi, firts, excellent video. Excuse me, but if i wannt to used a part of this, can i? No comercial, just academical work
History. like it, cool fooatge! have a good day-
Thanks!
Im still amazed us humans actually believe in half animals n half human gods. Can you imagine bumping into ya mate n having a yarn about what posiden or Zeus was seen doing the other week. Thats cool. Cheers
While this is wonderful and a pleasure to watch I wondered how much better it could have been with just a little dirt and strewn leaves to spoil the pristine views. The ambition and fulfilment are thrilling though.
👍
Truly mesmerizing!
But the quintessential Parthenon should really be much whiter, it’s The marble temple
I would like to see Pella and Vergina. Sure thing is that macedonians were not very civilized and their cities were small, but still...
lol Romans gave Sparta an extreme make over and made it into a tourist attraction. I can't imagine traditionalist spartans liking it.
Sure!
Beautiful, but Rome is Rome
Yes!
