Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Very welcome
Doug , can the x jet be modified to install at the pump pressure side , to prevent having to keep bucket of chemicals at the operator ?
Thanks. Doug Latimer
Have never tried that. The x-jet does not have the venturi effect so I'm thinking it would not work. I doubt there's any way to keep from having the bucket w an x-jet.
Thank you for actually trying to teach on here.
You are learning from a legend. A great man in the washing industry
Hi Mr. Doug. Maybe you can help me. My pump is 4000psi and 4GPM. I work with a 30ft hose and my downstream venturi doesn't work. But with a 15ft high pressure hose, yes. What do I need to do to make downstream venturi work on hoses longer than 15ft - 30ft? God bless your projects!
What machine is it? Belt or direct? Got a model #? Where did you purchase it? And what injector are you using. Something is definitely out of whack to not work with a 30 foot hose.
@@PressureCleaningSch The brand's assembler is (kOMPAK) Consortium with the brand (BE). This is an Annovi Reverbe RSV 4G40 * 316370 Hyundai 14hp 420CC engine connects directly to the AR system. The venturi injector is after the bypass valve, all integrated into the RSV 4G40. I dismantled the venturi following the problem and measured the passage, which is 1.8 My idea is to eliminate the venturi and the integrated bypass and make a separate line. Any ideas or possible tips for my case Mr. Doug? Thanks
Good bles you. Im lokin from Puerto Rico.
So with a 2.1 I can just drop the hose in straight 10% bleach for vinyl siding? 4gpm 4000psi belt drive.
trying to find a dpown stream attachment for craftsman power washer
Hey Doug I’m trying to achieve a 1% for vinyl siding. You said typical the 2.1 chemical injector is a 8 to 1 ratio. (I understand I would have to do a bucket test to get my true ratio) but what I’m confused about is do I just draw from straight SH 12.5% into the injector or do I need to cut it down and dilute with water to get the needed 1% for vinyl. Do you have a video explaining this? Thanks
Really all depends on the degree of staining and GPM of your machine as to diluting or not.

Will a xjet apply a strong enough mix to clean a roof?
If it’s not to dirty. But it will take a heck of a lot of bleach
Hi doug, always good info. Im experienced so is all easy for me but always good to watch anyhow and reinforce. So thanks. But awesome info for a newbie .... I usually downstream vs dedicated. I usually go 50/50 12.5 % with some surfactant. Same for you or do u go straight bleach? Ive never done that...
thanks for quick shipping of some items this week.

Hi Doug, is there a reason that you don't sell the by-pass kit with the 2-3GPM DS injector? I would like to pruchase one by my sprayer is 2.5GPM.
Mr Doug, what do you prefer about having the male/plug at the outlet vs the female/coupler at the outlets throughout your setup? I feel like conventional thinking is usually the other way around, isn’t it? Genuinely curious
We do a lot of spraying just using the ball valve, and the spray pattern is much better, plus I don't run the risk of o-rings popping out of the coupler. And you are correct on conventional thinking. It really all comes down to personal preference
Thanks Mr Doug. Very well done Sir.
So question. With this type of setup, does chemical still flow through even when using a high pressure tip? Or only when using low pressure tips?
Only when using low flow/pressure chemical applicator nozzles.
@@PressureCleaningSch cool. Thanks!
Hey guys! I have a 3200PSI 2.5GPM pressure washer which has its own soap tank. I want to install a chemical injector to be able to use bleach without damaging the water pump. Can I install a chemical injector on this machine? What do you think is my best option? Thank you!
Not sure how the outlet is on your pump but you might could. Or could try an X jet
How many spy are metres does a 20inch surface cleaner clean per hour roughly ?
That depends on a lot of variables. Type of surface, how dirty it is, etc etc
@@PressureCleaningSch surface is moderate nothing too crazy mostly car park surface with a bit of dirt
@@dos8350 I think billy Davidson UA-cam will some times say his guy's can do 1,500 sq ft per hour but I may be off on something. I haven't seen a video he mentions that in a little while. 139.3546 square meters
I need a system to reach 3 and 4 story hotels without leaving the ground. I'm very familiar with pw but I'm brand new to the soft washing part of the business. I need help picking out a system to reach 4 stories with volume to put chemicals on and to rinse with lots of volume.
That's going to be very tough to reach that high unless there is absolutely zero wind. Only then a dedicated pump system like a P40 Gas system from our site will for sure get 3 stories w no wind, 4 stories will depend on the floor height of each level and again wind conditions. I've washed many a 3 story building using our kingslinger air diaphragm system, or the 7GPM Remco 12V pump. But again you have to have zero wind. Most often on these buildings we are downstreaming using an 8GPM Pw'er, but when the staining requires stronger mix then we use the dedicated pump. To say there's a dedicated pump out there that will get you 4 stories from the ground, AND not cost you an arm and a leg, I have not seen yet. www.dougruckerstore.com/product-category/equipment/systems/
Thanks so much for all of the great information! I'll go on your website after I get back from church and see what you have on it to help me out. Thanks once again!
Do you sell skids that the soft wash systems come on already to go?
@@shaferspressurewashing8911 yes. we sure do.
I'll look on the site and see what all you have. Thanks!
