I fell in love with this mod my favorite feature is the heat system. I just wish that they update some textures and remade some models for it to feel more finished. Also It would be cool to overhaul the reactor system to something more interesting and create-like

I don't understand why they needed the reactor inserter thingy, they could have used the deployers and mechanical arms from base create. Also the reactor glass feels like such a cheap solution for radiation, they could have given shielding properties to different materials. IRL concrete and waterare often used as shielding and they are already in minecraft. Steel is also used a lot and you have something close in iron blocks. It would be cool if they didn't block all radiation and instead blocked it partially, forcing players to make proper thick biological shields to fully protect themselves.

i love that you added the realistic setups. Not enough mod reviewers do this and it really helps people who are still new to create
There something i wish i knew before it's that the carbon brushes can only extract electricity from a certain number of generetor coil which is 8 by default i think

And with that reactor meltdown, we have an easier, but more expensive way to get through bedrock on the neither roof 😅😂😂😂

This mod works wonderfully with Create Crafts and Additions(C&A), since Crafts and Additions adds electrical stuff that does work with the carbon brushes and the motors, you can have batteries and use the wire spools of C&A that transfer more power than the new age wires that have a limit of how much current they move, i just prefer to use the electrical conections from C&A but generate the power using New Age, but you need to use the wrench on the conectors to tell them to pull energy from, and push energy into, some of the new age blocks otherwise the conectors won't know what to do automatically but it's super simple, i really love the fact that C&A allows for huge batteries that are modular like vaults and fluid tanks in that you can expand it in 3x3 towers super tall that store a ridiculous amount of electricity, but can also supply it back if you want when something is pulling more power than what you are generating, avoiding everything running out of power and stalling your entire base, the setup i played with had a oil destillery from Create Diesel Generators, refining oil into gasoline and diesel and powering a set of big engines that spun the Create new age coils and then moved electricity around, basically a oil powered power plant, never played with heat and nuclear but your video explained in a cool way, i should give it a try
The only time i've seen thorium in a game was from Mindustry, brought up some fond memories from playing that game
This mod could do a lot more with the heat system

Carbon brushes? Only DC power uses that. AC power transmits energy either via induction or clever design to have the wires as the stator.
ac generators use 2 slip rings, dc generators use carbon brushes over 1 ring split in 2 halves
edit: dc is more compact
how to get that block show thing on top of the screen like it show energy stored and stuff help me i cant build things without it

@KwizzleHazzizle I just expect to get more out of it. I can make a compact self sufficient boiler that's just as good. doesn't need a reactor and a machine to feed it.
@@TheGunnert Right exactly, it would be cool if we had steam turbines or something, or if there were higher levels of steam engine that required levels of heat not attainable from simple blaze burners.
Yeah it's pretty useless, it'd just a vanity thing. I built mine on an island for shits and giggles and it's pretty cool. It's entirely self sufficient so I just leave it be.
There needs to be some kind of large scale project that would need that amount of power. Maybe a portal to another dimension that takes a huge amount of power? New bosses and energy weapons to defeat them?

Oh right lol, I think it's ok because that's shade from shaders. I'll check and see but I think they just check to see if there's not any blocks directly overhead

The reactor? Imo it should be as much as a creative motor
You gotta use the best motor that's why, and at least some of the best generator it's very expensive but a really cool project
No Storage units, no batterys and no machiens that actualy need electricity. So without other mods like craft and additions i dont see a point of this mod. Create + immersive Engeniering + Crafts and additions + Extreme reactors + Create Diesel Engines. Thats a way better combo in my opinion.
