Jesse, I am a service advisor at a Toyota dealer and you have water intrusion from your 3rd brake light. There is a recall to reseal and even replace the headliner. You definitely have water coming in above that back glass (3:24) so take it in ASAP and get that fixed. It's free to you and will look a lot better on that black headliner.
I'm sure it sounds better than my old head unit DEH-P6200BT in our 09 Tacoma DCLB. I could upgrade but, I still get free Sirius for over 10 years. This was my first professional install in 2017 still kicking. Also added Rock ford Prime D 4 ch 100x4 ohms. Front Polks DB6501 6.5" Max 300w rms 100 impedance 4 ohms. Rear- Polk DB651 6.5" max180w rms 60 impedance 4 ohms. Sub Amp Kicker 11Dx500 mono amp wired at 2 ohms to produce full 500 amp rms. Powering(2) 10" Kicker subwoofers 4 ohms 150 rms to a sealed sub box.
I’d like to see how this compares to the JL Audio Stealth Box that uses a 400rms watt 10” sub. I think the plug and play factor tied with them digitally tuning for the best sound in the Tacoma interior does make it worth it. I don’t wanting to be wishing for more sound or volume.
It doesn't compare because it's not gonna be 'tuned for the vehicle.' OEM Audio correct the polarity and timing issues and then master the front sound stage to the driver seat. I don't have anything against the stealth Box or JL, they are just not vehicle specific ensemble like the O+ kit is. 'The tuning might in and of itself be the greatest value of the products ' ..if not the fitment and molding, the plug and play harness, but how about their amazing follow through from customer service, once you join the family. If one can appreciate the balanced reproduction of the recordings. It is not the same as just putting some subwoofers in your car with some amplification. Even if you sourcr a DSP of your own, how will you or by whom will the acoustics of the digital sound processing be 'tuned to perfection?'
@@totustuus8951 Sounds to me as if you work for the company. Haha I agree with everything you said and not going to argue with you for the ones that would just drop in the Stealthbox. I have the Stealthbox and it’s a very impressive Sub in such a small perfectly fit molded box which OEMAudio+ now designed similar for their new sub they offer that Tacomabeast offers in their 10year anniversary kit. I actually contacted OEMAudio+ and spoke to someone about what I wanted and my expectations due to my last Vehicle I put together. He insured me the new Sub they were working on was more powerful than the two 8” they offer and wouldn’t need more than the new 1 10” subwoofer but I was getting impatient on when they would finally release the new product. But I didn’t just drop the Sub and pair it to an efficient amp. I did the full package same as OEMAudio+ with more powerful speakers using a DSP built in Amplifier and tuned the acoustics myself with a RTA Mic and was able to make the adjustments myself to my liking and loudness, because as I stated before I didn’t want to be stuck wanting more after the money spent. Not everyone has to go the route and distance I went to achieve this or may not have the capability to even do so, but to me it was much more rewarding to go through the process myself and rewarding it was. Because I went with a high quality speakers, the sound and bass that is delivered almost doesn’t require for any subwoofer to be added, but the Sub gets those lower Htz that just makes you smile. Plus I can turn it up to ear damaging volumes with unbelievable clarity. I just would like to compare MY setup and tuning to the OEMAudio+ for the comparison of cost, sound, and simplicity they offer.

I got the two subwoofer set up wait until something goes wrong you will regret purchasing the system Daniel from Oem is really hard to get him on the phone is been a year since I am waiting for my replacement tweeters left voicemails emails and he is no were to be fine think twice
There customer service team is very professional I can’t see that happening, And my oem ive had for 3 years now I’ve just now added the second sub so idk man I can’t see that happening

I can turn my sub all the way up, but in the speaker bass settings if I turn the bass all the way up, it sounds like my speakers are holding back. So my sub is great but when I turn the bass up on my speakers, it sounds like its holding back or even it cant handle or blown. Would getting a better amp(if even possible) be something youd reccomend?
