My little CB 175 twin was an engineering marvel. She was sprightly, handled well, had great brakes and was comfortable but still taught through the corners.
I had a black CB750F from 1991, also called a Nighthawk. It was a reliable machine but need the rubber boots arounf the carbs, so i sold it. I still have a 2014 CBR500R, what a great machine
I owned a Honda CB650C and a Honda CB 500T as well as the CB 250 Super Dream,CB 250K,CJ 250T ,CD 175,Honda C70 and Honda C50 over the years, loved them all to the point of having a Honda MC tattoo on my artm.
I have 8 old Hondas but my 1979 CB550K3 is my all time favourite. Nimble relatively light and the four into four exhaust set it of beautifully. It has been thrashed around the Costa Blanca Mountains for several years and hasn't missed a beat. OK my CBX 1000Z beckons me at every opportunity, but at what price!
CBX?, CB350?, CB77 (Super Hawk)?, CB 450? Where are all these bikes that made Honda what it is today. All I saw here was a bunch of indistinct water pumpers that look like a bunch of pipes and hoses to nowhere. The CB 750 and CB 1100 are the only two bikes that even look like a motorcycle. All the others look like plumbing.
Returning to motorcycling in the autumn of my life, I have four Hondas now. In 2023 I traded in my '94 Yamaha V-Max for an all black little 125cc Grom. This is my least powerful bike, but it is easiest to ride locally and just go to the store. Next I have a 2012 CBR250r I made from two motorcycles; one I bought that I could not get a title for and one with a blown engine. This little single cylinder water-cooled and fuel injected bike is a dream to ride and looks really good. Third is my all black 2014 CB1100 aircooled, fuel injected transverse four. It redefines the word smooth and is probably my best all around motorcycle. Lastly is my rocket ship; a 2010 VFR 1200f, with shaft drive and all the bells and whistles it is frightenly powerful with a V4 1237cc 172 horsepower fuel injected and water-cooled engine. I only wish that I could have had these bikes when I was a bit younger. All my bikes are fuel injected and each is very special in its own way.
I had a 82 CB750K, a 900C from around the same time, and of course a 1100F from 83. I think the CB750K is the best bike of the entire CB lineage. It would do a buck 20 two up, go a long way on a tank of fuel, and was as reliable as any bike ever made. And, did I mention it was as comfortable as any of the 40+ bikes I have owned? My wife and I, and my son before he made his grand entrance, rode all over northern California and Nevada on that.

Also 1970's CB 250 G5 was a gorgeous looking bike and could stay with a two stroke.....

In India we have the CBZ and CB Unicorn from 150 CC segment CB shine 125 .. Three gems and engineered master pieces from Honda...
