It’s just so sweet how it seems like Shadow comes by every night before bedtime, to spend time with his lil family! And even stays sometimes! No wonder all of America loves watching this Eagle family! How could you not though?! 🤗💛🦅🐥

A nest in FL actually almost had a failure to launch. In reality though Jackie and Shadow would chase them off when it was start of new nesting season. All babies grow and go on their journey.💖

I adore this family. I also agree with Karen about background. This is the only family I follow these days but i think it is family in Florida where background is a highway. Actually the family in Washington on Instagram is also interesting.

Tks. Yes I watched them a lot last year because Jackie and Shadow had no babies. I used to love it when they went down to the water especially. And i happened to see the drama with the fish hook the other night. I presume it ended happily.

Jackie and Shadow take such delight in their precious chick! It warms my heart to see how the three of them dote on each other.
Shadow is best husband and dad in the Bald Eagle world. Jackie depends upon him a lot and vice versa. Great pair! All Jackie has to do is make that one sound and Shadow comes right to her. I love these birds so much. I've never said that about others.

As far as we know, banding will not happen this year.
