First I have to say this whole candidates series has been the best “independent media” I have been able to watch in the lead up to this election. It has been informative and entertaining. I’m always wanting to help be constructive in my comments and the only thing I could suggest in making it better, would be some audio editing in terms of rolling off some of the bass frequencies to make the audio less muddy and more intelligible. The separate microphones have certainly improved things immensely, but now they are doing such a good job they are picking up all the frequencies. Listening on my flat reference Focal Alpha 80 studio monitors in my home recording studio, and also on my big tower speakers in the surround sound room of my house, there is a lot of excess low end which is still making it hard to hear the vocal frequencies ( which usually sit anywhere from 100hz to 4khz, but all the muddy low end can be anywhere up to 200hz), so a bit of a roll off of these frequencies would clean up the audio no end. Can recommend Reaper as a free DAW which can do basic video editing too. I got the paid version $60 for lifetime updates, and it’s awesome. A couple of audio plugins like a emulated tube eq from Rooster Audio, or some gentle LA2A compression and it would help the vocal pop. Learned all this from being in my old band Manilla Green in a past life (check us out on Spotify). Anyway, Daniel, awesome work. Also, Zali, all the best in the campaign! Need to get some voices like your community in Eden Monaro where I live.
Also, so glad to finally hear a political person talking about more than just solar and wind. Am I ecstatic to hear someone talking about hydroelectric energy sources like wave energy. Pumped hydro can absorb the excess solar in the day and then release at night for those without batteries in their homes, or it can be kept for base load or emergency to cut in as fast as a gas fired power station and turn off as fast or faster than gas for times when we have a “wind drought” or “wave drought” but with zero emissions. Also, why is no one talking about geothermal? Even Geoscience Australia has a geothermal duct in the Government department building in Symonston Canberra to heat the building efficiently. Why can’t we all have that?

Thanks very much Tim!

Perhaps Tesla should rename the "accelerator pedal" to "velocity pedal"
You realise there is coal in every Tesla right?
Burning coal is different
