@@AmericanInThailand If you want to go there, check out Chiangkhan River Green Hill resort. They were fully booked but pretty nice(and expensive). Fighting with norovirus in my gut didn’t have me too excited to be fancy anyway.
That just made me so angry of how people can’t leave animals and nature alone. They walk into a forest, they should do nothing to harm any of its living inhabitants. I’m sorry and sad you saw that. It just kills me- I love and respect all animals. Cool monkeys! That crazy glass bridge is so trippy! Apple is so cute- I would’ve felt the same as she did..Looks awesome though. Beautiful view from your hotel. Christmas in Thailand! The dinner looked so good, and that umbrella drink looked delicious and deadly! Lol Happy new year guys! Thank you for taking us on your trip!
Never had malaria but my wife got really sick from taking preventative meds for our first trip to Papua so we never touched that stuff ever again. We usually just spray repellent for mosquitos if we are headed into an environment that will have them.
My wife actually came very close to dying in W. Papua due to severe dehydration because that poison was making her vomit. We won’t ever take that again…and haven’t for several years.
