Looking forward to your post processing video
The 12-pin connector is an Amphenol DIN connector, not an XLR.
Thanks good video and explanation.
Thanks, Leon!
Great video? But could you explain why use all 8 inputs? I don’t understand what ambisonic a and b’s difference is. Do they complement each other?
Thank you for your video. Is it possible to record other additional microphones at the same time when recording ambix using Ambio microphones like this video?
Hi! Nice content. Do you happen to know, why monitoring stereo mix from Ambisonic A format recording (in that case recorded using Rode NT-SF1) in F8 is so low? Levels are like 12dB lower than isolated A format tracks. Did I do something wrong? Is it a bug? A feature? Of course I can boost fader on Tracks 1-4 (Ambisonic) to +12dB but I guess it should not look like this.
Where can I order that 12 pin cable.?
I have the Rode NT-SF1 and the cable ordering goes Red (LF-1), Yellow (RF-2), Green (LB-3) and Blue (RB-4). Are these capsules in the same order as the Ambeo? It would seem odd that the colour order would be different.
No on the rode colour code is different.
Hi, is it possible to use the zoom f4 instead? Thanks!
Well... the F4 has 4 channels to use with XLR inputs... so pretty sure the answer is yes.
