He is a speccial player for sure. However, NHL is a different level. They will not allowed to fly free through the zone like that. He will be hit and injuries will come. I do not like to see good players get hurt. But that is the reality. This is why Mario Lemieux retired early.
As anyone who has played organized hockey knows, the game is overwhelmingly about being a very fast thinker. Hockey is such a _fast_ game that you really have to have your wits about you and understand the flow and positioning of your team mates as the game moves from end to end. Connor Bedard has a fast mind and insane athletic skills. To be able to stick handle and shoot at that level is almost entirely unheard of. The team that gets him in this upcoming year's draft is going to be leaping out of their skins for joy! 👀👌😎
As a Blackhawk fan I'd like to see them getting him of course but am intrigued about the thought of Montreal as they have support for him to play with already, being Suzuki and Caufield.
I’m also a Hawks fan and I don’t even want to get my hopes up. Even if we’re the worst team in the league(which we’re currently not) we still only have an 18.5% chance. And I can’t help but be cynical and think the politics of the NHL wouldn’t allow another #1 overall pick to go to the Hawks this soon after Kane/Toews and all the winning
I’m here after losing Kaner and praying this kid comes to Chicago. I think he’s got all the tools…I doubt we’ll get him but he’ll bring a lot of excitement wherever he goes
cool fact about Bedard. he DOESN"T make it look easy. watch the slomo of his shots. he is putting every ounce of his being into his wrist shots. cues it up, and then bang, with killer grimace, it takes all his energy and that's how he shoots so hard. pure intent, complete focus on the shot.
ngl if Caufield can make it to the NHL Bedard definitely can. The defender that he "reverse hit" was the same height and lighter than him so it doesn't really prove if he can take hits from a guy like Hedman but I still think he will be a star in the NHL
Hes been nothing short of legendary in his Junior Hockey career can't wait to see what he's gonna do in the NHL. Definitely the next Superstar face of the League
@@hegodamask7384 Unfortunately it's a little too late for Ottawa to be tanking, although they kind of are lul. Hopefully we can get the 6%er though that would be fucking awesome.
It's all really down to how he acclimates to the NHL playstyle. He seems like a beast, but I think we need to have that little "Alright, but lets see."
This kid might be better than McDavid in 3 or 4 years. I know it sounds crazy but his awareness on ice is so insanely high, prob the best since Gretzky
I could do without the narration... just show the highlights. People coming to watch this video are familiar with hockey.
Why u talking bout u18 clips are from u20
Not all of them were lol do you even watch hockey lol

It’s a snap shot not wrist
Wow matthews and bedard in Arizona…. bettman is licking his chops finally revenue from that team
Toe drag release!
He’s a stone cold killer
Wayne was 140 lbs playing
True but the average size of players is larger now, but I don't think it will be to much of an issue as he already has a way of finding open ice.
True, but he had McSorley watching his back.
@@leatherbound4233 I mean his stats say 185lbs at 5'9. For a 17 or 18 year old that's really good
hes gonna be on the avalanche or lightning wow everyone so dumb
He can still play in 2 more world juniors … I mean he won’t … but he could … image the records he could set
Omg omg the salty tears taste sooooo good!!!! Go Hawks!!!! Sorry loooooooooserrrssssss!!!
Didnt think 5’10 185 was small seen smaller guys make an nhl career bedards futures bright
His bottom hands holds stick pretty high and gets lots of Flex. I wonder if he has a low flex stick
This kid is for real you’ll see
Your the best
He is from North Vancouver
This kid is lit 🔥, snipes with a backhand shot
I learned that you don’t for the body as a defenceman U13 Chestermere Lakers

Good luck Chi Blackhawks! After losing Toews and Kaner good pick up to ease the pain.
As a lifelong Ducks fan, I’m sick.
Let goooooo
It's going to be great when he scores the golden goal for Canada at the next winter Olympics.
Connor might not be the tallest but I’m sure that he has more strength than most people can’t wait to see what he’s gonna put out in the nhl
Sweeden? c'mon on man
So far…
So dangling an entire team to win the quarters in OT is notjing i guess
Hes been nothing short of legendary in his Junior Hockey career can't wait to see what he's gonna do in the NHL. Definitely the next Superstar face of the League
He's gonna play goalie
Absolutely fun to watch this young man play hockey.
good video🏒
He’s going to the Blackhawks
I want him playing with the Sharks... said no one ever. 😄
Ducks, baby!
Please come to Anaheim 🙏
Old Sharks maybe: Thornton, Marleau, Pavelski, Burns, Boyle, Havlat, Vlasic, BEDARD

Unfortunately, he will end up playing for some fuckin' Blue Jackets or Coyotes and waste his talent there.
Regina sounds similar to.....
OT winner against Slo…
Nice photo shopped picture!
Welcome to Chicago.
Who do u think is going to draft him?
He’s wanting his hometown team that being the van Canucks maybe he can help get ‘‘em into the playoffs💀
hohoho
Good job Connor
"Sweeden"😆
Matthews?
You forgot to mention that he broke all Canadas junior records as an underage player. He still has to wear full face protection.
I moved from Regina the year before Bedard got drafted to the Pats, he's been really entertaining to watch and he's got an insane future ahead of him.

Please learn to say the name correctly, the last d is silent, so the way it is said is "Bédar" or "Baydar"...
88 to 98. bedard-o-rama!!
good video, thumbs up.
As a Canadian he is one of my favourites
Who's gonna get him?
Columbus prob
Golden knights
every big and fast defenceman in the league.
@@elgrandesnipe golden knights are first in the division do you know how a draft lottery works lol 😂
