My pregnant wife is jealous of my ex because I had my first child with her and did all of my "firsts" already, now she has found something she could do "first" with me, and that's divorce. Plus one update.

@@NazzyDragon How you can listen to this story and come away with ‘both sides are equally terrible communicators’ is a mystery.
The guy noticed a change in her behavior and made all the initiatives to communicate and get to the root of the problem. She on the other hand lied repeatedly, gaslighted him, fueled her unsubstantiated fears, basically ran down the marriage and was ready to hang on to her delusions even though they were inches from divorce. Yet to you they are both ‘equally’ at fault.
Accountability isn’t women’s strong suit either so I’m not surprised. Gotta defend the sisterhood.

​@tweetsypeasy Either that, or have been dealt so many rough hands and themselves burned so many times that they've gone past cynical/jaded and simply CANNOT believe that anyone lacks any malicious intent or isn't hiding something. Knew someone like that once that I'd originally bonded with due to shared traumas, but had to cut out since their own fear and insecurity was leading them to unintentially sabotage the other positive relationships of the people around them.
Don't think that was the case in this redditor's scenario, but it's sadly pretty common. Cycles of hurt and all that.

I'm not going to lie at this story makes no sense to the title because nowhere has the wife of the original poster remotely talked about anything to do with her being jealous of the ex because from what I'm getting Leah is the daughter in this situation of the original poster and his ex-wife because that would have made sense of that was the title but the title says my pregnant wife is jealous of my ex so I'm confused with the title😊

The title is referring to the main problem Wife was having in the story. Wife was constantly doubting herself and OP because she was listening to Toxic Friend's illogical claims. Most of it had to do with not being OP's first experience in dating/family life(which Ex-GF was, thus the title).
