- Hello everyone! I thought I'd finally start a UA-cam channel as I love the booktube community and want to be part of the fun! I thought I'd start out with the newbie booktube tag! Thanks for watching!

I’m loving seeing people on booktube that are closer to my age, so thanks so much for that! I follow a lot of book tubers who don’t necessarily share my taste in books, but that doesn’t really matter to me, I just love Book talk!

Welcome to Booktube! It is always a pleasure to see a new booktuber and I love your channel name. I am similar age range, not on BookTube but enjoy the content. I love reading and think it is a terrific outlet for anyone but BT is especially great for someone creative. Sorry about the breakup. I was fairly new to watching Jennifer’s content but was so shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of such a young woman. I think that becoming a BTer is a wonderful way to honor her memory in addition to expressing your creativity.

Welcome to Booktube! My favorite jam is the dysfunctional family! I read The Bee Sting last month and it was glorious. haha. Other favorite authors writing about dysfunctional families for me are Jonathan Franzen. Marian Keyes, Mona Simpson, Taylor Jenkins Reid... there are so many, these are the authors who I immediately thought of. The chunkier the book, the better! I look forward to watching your videos!

Oh how grateful I am to hear about the small space book challenge! I live in a small condo with my family and we have very little space. (Most space is taken up by Legos for my 8-year-old son). Hey, glad to find you. You sound as though you are very well read. And such a variety of topics. I'm Googling some of your favorites right now. I like your style, very laid back and presenting info as though we are on the journey with you. I find your video refreshing. Not to be mean but some of the younger Booktubers are so full of themselves. I'm listening intently until they admit that they haven't really read several of the books they are talking about. One of them just reads the first part, middle, and the ending. I am so unimpressed. Some admit to buying the book because it had a pretty cover which isn't the worst reason to buy a book, but come on! It's what's between the cover that matters. SE Hinton was an early school book author I had to read as well. It surprisingly wasn’t The Outsiders, but Rumble Fish. Always stuck with me for some reason. Looking forward to your future videos. I read a lot of feminist literature and was once asked by a class I was teaching why I taught them so many poems about mad women 🤣 Also, bought a bible a few years ago with the idea of reading it (haven't started that yet) and have written my list of books I want to read this year that I already own.
