Drumslinger Marcher Pad and Drumslinger Corps Pad with Kevlar Head. Both are built like tanks and are very, very responsive. Custom pads made in the great state of Texas by a former drum corps guy named Bill Olsen. I have three and would recommend these to every serious drummer out there.
First! Personally, I use an offworld invader v3, and find that the offworld pad takes the cake against any drumpad, but honestly, that is just personal preference. Mainly what I look for in a drum pad is it not being too loud, rims, and 14" and that's exactly what I got out of the offworld invader. But that's just my opinion. Also, can you make a video going over how to play the Boston Crusaders' 2023 Snare break?
I love my Offworld, but the VicFirth Slimpad is amazing as well and sounds lovely. Also tried out a newer Donner snare pad with snares that I recommend you try out! It feels really nice and has lots a rebound.
it could just be an issue with their directed customer base. they have a specific target audience that they sell to and modern corps style drumming makes more money than pipe bands in todays world, so the few distributors of pipe-band drums have basically cornered the market already. new players are pretty rare, like the new sponsorship that SCV has, and thats still tied into the modern corps-style audience
Does this need to be waxed like the offworld? Also have you played on the carlos botello pad? Absolutely a blast to beat on. Personally like it better than my offworld
Not in terms of size but do you like the way the snary one feels and sounds or the one without snares. I was thinking that maybe the one without snares would be easier to hear
Best message them, but I am pretty sure the £120 will be with snare mechanism, so guess that the 12" version of the pad in this review will be cheaper..
Bro I love your videos!!! Let me know if you want to do a video together. I have a UA-cam channel I’m trying to grow but have lots of chops. Pls comment on this video and we can try and do a collab!!
Thanks dude, not looking to do any collabs at moment BUT add links to your channel in your comments and I am a sure a few will go and check out your stuff!

I think I'd like a Kevlar head pad to have around.

i know you've done the ditty from the 90s but can you do a tutorial on the 2008 one? i like a lot but the stuff on the rim is confusing me
Nice pad I'm definitely gonna buy it once it gets out
Podrías hacer un video enseñando Double Beat 2004 SCV

Una cuestión, porqué marcas como TAMA o MAPEX no desarrollan tambores para bandas de gaitas (pipe bandas)?
Gracias de antemano.

no need to wax, I have not seen Carlos pad yet.

They feel pretty much the same. I like the snare sound and cant wait to see a 14" with snare for comparison
Are the small sized pads going to lower in price because they cost £120 currently and the larger ones are apparently going to be £20 less.
