Depends what caused it. If it's Alzheimer's, for example, things will be get much more difficult. Still, to have all those words trapped in my head and not be able to tell anyone, nor right them down, sounds fairly horrific to me.

It's a kind of dementia that mainly affects the frontotemporal regions, hence the language impairment. But there are several kinds of PPAs and there is no specific info other than 'aphasia'.
