Dawie Dawie Dawie, you are speaking about financial terms that go straight over the top of the heads of these esteemed ministers. You need to use language that a grade 6 book keeping class would understand.
I love that statement of "if the Anc lose the elections nextyear, most people will lose jobs"..i think its time for change. S.A is drowning and we watching it without taking any action.
Disappointing that the government is being economical about state of financial affairs in terms of debt. Eskom outages have ravaged the economy hence short collections of revenue 😢😢😢
He is not, he is intellectually dishonest. Why doesn't he ever mention that the Financial sector in SA is too large +- 25% of GDP, that we pay +-R150 billion in interest to the banks yearly... Cmon Dawie. He represents the financial sector because he never criticises them. FRAUD!

We don't need to sell these SOEs instead qualified and experienced people from this sectors must be appointed. We must run our SOEs like in Singapore where public companies compete with private companies without getting protection from government. As for SAA,first its role should be clear whether its should be profit driven or not. By the way Ethiopian airline used to be where SAA is and Ethiopian government took unpopular decision to be profit driven.
Actually middle class are selling up and moving out as well. That is why our skills are declining. I see people starting at the bottom in other countries and believe me it's hard. But for their children it's the right choice.
@@theresaburdett1054 I agree, in the IT sector people are leaving at a rapid rate and this is in my personal environment as I work in a highly skilled work environment and people are being poached daily, this is why local businesses are struggling very hard just to get local skills and get forced to hire overseas contractors.
Would BIZNEWS agree that the best thing our President can do, before the international spotlights on our World Rugby win start to fade, is to propose a Joint Territorial ANNEXATION & Business Development Treaty to Israel, as a prelude to peace negotiations with Palestine, and as this could well bring about a win-win-win solution to the current situation?❤

For personal generation at households yes. But unfortunately at industrial scale it is not the answer as we do not have the constant base generation. I would rather say small nuclear reactors is a better choice as we have the resources to power them and they are very safe and can be implemented in a short timeframe, then also gas power plants are a good option as well as it is a byproduct of oil extraction and an old coal plant can be converted to gas plant very easily.
Hows about a budget where nothing is stolen???
Oh my word, hope this coalition works... Otherwise we are gone as a Country. Effing anc....
Mr. Roodt, we are dealing with thugs and thieves. So, forget the numbers. The country is bankrupt. Finished and Klaar.
"SA economy falls short of government forecasts" should read "Government lies exposed by reality"
