    The slow-mo shows even in hyperburst there still somewhat a two shot recoil impulse but it happens so fast it's almost superimposed. I love the outside the box thinking and the proof of concept. Very neat firearm indeed, although way too complicated for normal infantry, I feel. Too bad we can't get them in the states

      we do not like this weapon. Inside the devil is an alarm clock and a system for lifting wells with a cable transmission. hell of a complicated thing - the loss of movement elements - and its use of a club. experimental and unnecessary thing. In general, the wars must end. Killing people for different views on life is not normal.

    • @BioClone
      @BioClone 11 місяців тому +1

      recoil impulse yes, but on the cannon, not on the grip/body... I guess that is one of the main reasons the canon has this type of mechanism... obviously through the material the transmision of the force is very fast but with the "gap" they have a better window for it working, after all the second shot impulse will remove part of that opposite force the cannon is suffering from the first detonation... Im only wondering how bad the canon may get on long usage since it sound to me like how this forces fight eachother may turn the canon more fragile overtime in comparison with more common systems. (one classic canon with get most of the force on one side, while this canon probably experiments force not only on the chamber but also on some middle point of the canon where both forces meet)

    The AN-94 is a weapon with a shifted recoil impulse: to eliminate the impact of recoil on the accuracy of fire, the design is designed to delay the impact of recoil on the position of the weapon until the fired bullets leave the barrel. In simple words, the first two bullets leave the barrel while the barrel is moving backwards. When the barrel reaches its rearmost position, the machine gun will, of course, bounce slightly, but before that moment two bullets have already gone to the target. Brilliant.

      No it's not. The AN-94 is not reliable by the standard of the AK, but what gun is? Russian factories and soldiers are used to running Kalashnikov systems, that do not require cleaning every time the gun goes through a mission, do not need to be oiled and greased ALL the time, and do not need to be manufactured in the most precise measurment possible. The Nikonov from an american factory and maintained by an experienced engineer would run relatively okay, but of course malfunctions are inevitable with this gun.

      The AN-94 would still require more maintenance than would be considered practical under prolonged theatre-type field conditions, and the complexity of its internal workings mean it would be more prone to mechanical malfunctions (which is a MAJOR concern in any weapon intended for large-scale distribution), and much harder to repair by the individual soldier. Something like this is more suitable for special operators, running ops that aren't intended to be prolonged.

      A teardown of this gun shows that it uses a pulley system to be able to carry two rounds to make the hyperburst mode possible. It's so complex and disassembly is also complicated than your run-of-the-mill AK, and was the reason why it was never adopted much, but Russian special forces use this gun to a limited extent.

    Отличный автомат, жаль появился в тяжелое для страны время - в 1994 году. Никонов разрабатывал автомат без отдачи более 20-ти лет, АН-94 "Абакан" - результат его многолетней работы. Помимо системы гашения отдачи, интересный прицел с барабанным целиком - быстрее АК-планки можно менять дальность, также интересен ДТК оригинальной конструкции. Прошел все испытания минобороны, включая на надежность: работа в условиях запыления, песка, грязи, на морозе, падения на бетон - несмотря на сложность конструкции надежность на уровне АК. Постановлен к принятию на вооружение, но производился малыми партиями. На сегодня производство прекращено, перспективным считается более простой и дешевый А-545. Конструктор Никонов умер в 2003-м. Очень жаль АН-94, если немного доработать, добавить Пикатинни сверху и М-LOK с боков - будет отличное современное оружие, опережающее российские и западные образцы по точности.

    • @uberfuchs
      @uberfuchs Рік тому +3

      Translated: "It is a great assault rifle, but it is a pity that it appeared at a difficult time for the country - in 1994. Nikonov has been developing a recoil-less assault rifle for more than 20 years, the AN-94 "Abakan" is the result of his many years of work. In addition to the recoil damping system, it has an interesting drum-type rear sight - faster than the AK-plate, you can change the range, as well as an interesting DTK of original design. Passed all the tests of the Ministry of Defense, including reliability tests: operation in dust, sand, mud, frost, falling on concrete - despite the complexity of the design, reliability is at the level of AK. It was approved for adoption, but was produced in small batches. Today production has been discontinued, and the simpler and cheaper A-545 is considered promising. Designer Nikonov died in 2003. Too bad about the AN-94, if a little modification, adding Picatinny on top and M-LOK on the sides, it would be an excellent modern weapon, ahead of Russian and Western models in accuracy."

      помню еще будучи ребенком смотрел в начале 00х(если не в конце 90х) по тогда еще каналу РТР(нынешний Россия-1) программу про перспективные, но забытые оружейные разработки позднего СССР - ранней России и там было довольно обширное упоминание про АН-94. Конструкция на то время была просто фантастическая, особенно для ограниченного применения аля спец отряды и т.д. Но даже до ограниченного производства дело не дошло, выпустили мизерное кол-во экземпляров и забили болт. А сколько было еще подобных разработок всяческого уникального стрелкового оружия, которое уже давно забыто, там не сосчитать.
