Translated: "It is a great assault rifle, but it is a pity that it appeared at a difficult time for the country - in 1994. Nikonov has been developing a recoil-less assault rifle for more than 20 years, the AN-94 "Abakan" is the result of his many years of work. In addition to the recoil damping system, it has an interesting drum-type rear sight - faster than the AK-plate, you can change the range, as well as an interesting DTK of original design. Passed all the tests of the Ministry of Defense, including reliability tests: operation in dust, sand, mud, frost, falling on concrete - despite the complexity of the design, reliability is at the level of AK. It was approved for adoption, but was produced in small batches. Today production has been discontinued, and the simpler and cheaper A-545 is considered promising. Designer Nikonov died in 2003. Too bad about the AN-94, if a little modification, adding Picatinny on top and M-LOK on the sides, it would be an excellent modern weapon, ahead of Russian and Western models in accuracy."

Were you able to get your hands on a VSS or an AS VAL while you were there?
Dear Santa Putin...
The hyper burst is an technological feat
This weapon is a marvel of firearm mechanics. Would love to own one myself.
This automatic rifle was designed by Gennadiy Nikonov and it's called Abakan. Abakan is the word from some native sibirian language, means blood of the bear. Also the town on the river Yenisei.
Larry I wish your videos were a little more informative. Example your video on the the mp10 you said the FBI didn't like it but you didn't say why and in this one no mention of how the hyper burst feature works or why that feature wasn't used in future rifle designs.
+hardgoodbye The videos would also be a bit longer which is good. 2 minutes is a bit short, but that's just my opinion.
+Dale Ding That doesn't sound reliable, if I'm correct? That's a lot of moving parts and even if one of those moving parts fuck up, the user is gonna have a bad day. That's part of the reason that it hasn't seen widespread use?
+Clinton Oh Yeah, the last time Larry shot an AN-94 (about two years ago or so) there was a horrendous malfunction and it was so bad it took 3 guys to get the rifle back in working order. It's in one of the videos on this channel.
1) sufficiently reliable rifle. She won the contest and passed state tests
2) operation of the training needs to be served not much time-consuming.

The army did not go for the same reason as the other inventions 1005000. Military samie not know what they want.
There is a great video done by Ian at the Forgotten Weapons UA-cam channel, in which he disassembles and demonstrates the way in which the weapon functions.
couldn't even see that happening in real time,,awesome
This low key helped me control my recoil on warzone
As cool as the AK is, this is the coolest rifle Russia ever created.
A brilliant feat of engineering.
Watching that two shot burst in slow motion so freaking cool
My favorite rifle in Battlefield 4. :)
Rip legen Moose wala
I have never seen a gun barrel retract! N that 2 shot burst, what an idea!
The loading mechanism inside those things is pure craziness
Every since MW s5 came out I’ve been finding the new guns on youtube
The AN-94 was seen in video games before such as COD Black Ops 2, Battlefield franchise, & the STALKER games.
Dude ik that😂 I’m saying every since it came out on MW I’ve been seeing it a lot lately and not because of video games
Vladimir Putin going to be in these video series soon
This fucking gun killed our sidhu 😭😭
ha ye khud chalke aii or thok diya siddhu ko , abe sidhu loves russian biba AN-94
Or was it the bullet?
That slow mo automatic fires sick
Call of Duty just added this. Cant wait to try it.
Its a monster bru
An amazing piece of kit. I handled one back in the UK and the engineering is incredible. However I cannot help feeling that it's a good solution to a non-existent problem.
Pretty much what the Russian arms guys thought as well.
MW did this weapon very accurately with hyperburst.
Doesn't even sound like 2 shots. Sounds like 1 shot. That's some good stuff right there.
Sidhu mossewala 😭😭
Bai sidhu di gl to bad kon aya ethe??? Veero
Anybody else hyped to use this in Modern Warfare Season 5?
you aint the only one fam
BlissBatch KORONE
thats one of a kind rifle, very impressive engineering. sadly its not used almost at all
I just discovered this creation and my brain feels like a runaway detroit diesel that has just been cold started in a siberian winter morning for the first time since the 60's.
Didn't even notice that it shooted 2 shots. Very interesting weapon👍🏼
UA-cam: I heard you play MW2019 Season 5, let me recommend this video for you.
This rifle is recently used in punjab
*AN-94 neat Rifle*
CoD Warzone added AN 94 before months ago
UA-cam: hey, do you wanna know what's the next meta.
That 2rd burst though!! 😻
Larry, do please about A-545, aka AEK 971
a new modification А-545
+Havok
He already did the AEK-971
I'd like to see someone shoot the AEK-973 on full auto, the recoil would probably be insane(It's a 7.62x39 version and still shoots at 900 RPM.
So glad to see the guns from Modern Warfare being made into real life guns.
More like modern earfare basing their guns of real life weapons
@@thegodfather_8455 Whoosh

Its all real they just change the name as always lmao
Balla Darker Yup it’s mainly for copyright reasons though.
Vickers for President!....seriously! Vickers for prez!!!
I don’t make a lot of comments and I have been studying guns for a very long time. Can’t believe I just found out about this rifle but I must say this is probably one of the most impressive things I’ve ever seen I mean a pulley seriously??
I didnt even hear it but it was a 2 round burst i only noticed when the slo-mo happened 💀
