3:00 looks like that pin did gall the hole on the extruded rail .....that you mentioned would be a weak point at the bolt........ just happened at the pin. Unless that hole is supposed to be tear shaped
why do people add chinese made when describing poorly made items but they don't say its chinese made in front of higher quality items such as apple products?? Im really confused, I mean Im not saying its not poorly made but you gotta be uniform no? like add chinese made in front of everything that is chinese made, not just pick the crappy items.
because China is known for cloning other products and making them cheaper. This is different than a company like Apple contracting Chinese companies to build specifics parts.

@@ljaysperspective1775 Plus, that actually was $67. They go on sale sometimes and ebay will give you a notification. Otherwise they are around $90-$125. It's been a few years and they are still holding up.

I actually watched a video where people are making one with conduit and a tarp. It turns out really well, so I'm thinking of doing it. It looks really cool and easy to repair parts.

@@OverlandFlorida Overland Florida yeah, even if it has thousands of positive reviews (paid robot reviews) if there are like 15 or more negative reviews they are most likely the only real people that reviewed and never recieved item or item never shipped or wrong item and whatnot. All these scammers can be in any country too because I have seen US based. Be careful out there online shopping! Also check Amazon for the same titled product which is a garuntee at getting the correct item! I think I might give it a go at building my own rollout awning!

Well you can mount them anyway you want. So you can decide that then. Every vehice or roof rack will be different.
