Why is there tape covering the Korg logo on the Kronos, but the Moog one is in clear display?
@BrunoSDL Probably Cory is an endorsing artist for Moog (they pay him), but not for Korg. (Business...)
@@MagMusic Endorsement deals are a little more complicated than that though. Moog doesn't make workstations either, so that's not a case of Korg being a competitor.
@@BrunodeSouzaLino I don't think it's a matter of direct competition, just simple business. Henry is a "hot commodity". People see him playing an instrument, they might go buy that instrument or that brand. Henry may as well benefit from his influence; why do free advertising? We see this at concerts, in videos, etc, all the time. If you have the power to move product, you deserve compensation. If the company doesn't want to pay, you don't promote. Seems reasonable.
If you're a keyboard player who knows his stuff, you know what he's playing or know how to figure it out, but the less experienced player doesn't. Henry's lead synth of choice has been Moog for many years, though I've seen him play Korgs. It's just money.
@@MagMusic Yes, but that is a Korg Kronos, not a Korg synth. Endorsements are never monetary payments, unless it's a workshop. Either the endorser receives special discounts, free shipping and similar. Only a few rare instances get free gear. Money? Maybe if you have a signature product, but it's a cut of the sales profits.
It could be that, since this is a video series, you get into the advertising rules for film, where the brand has to pay to have their logo visible, as showing it on film is free advertising.

How can I learn something from Cory Henry with a course of less 2 hours? Furthermore there are so many topics: gospel organ, reahrmonization, etc. Every topic would need at least 5/6 hours lessons...
For me he would even have to start with the basic : how to play the piano, before going anywhere else ^^ I could use a 100h lesson just to learn the basics first...
However, I could listen to him talk about music and watch religiously for hours just to enjoy the magic and try to understand how he translate for us what's going on upthere on his mind ^^
