That bag is beautiful. Its amazing how perfect the rental looks after nearly 3 years. It certainly proves you are purchasing a long lasting quality item and not just paying for the name. Enjoy using your new favourite. I love a Crossbody bag. Xxjackiexx

Yay! Congratulations! I've used Bag, Borrow & Steal for the same reason! It sealed the deal on my purchasing the LV Odeon PM. The Evelyne III 29 is on my wish list. I will of course borrow it first before I take the plunge. Enjoy your new bag!!

Hi, Jennifer, I love the bag, congrats on getting it. Did your Velar come in yet? My hubby & I went to the Hoffman Estates dealership on Saturday and had a great experience with their staff. I absolutely loved my salesman, no sales pitch, no pressure,. We test drove it and fell in love. I ordered the Velar Dynamics and it will take about 12 weeks to get unless one becomes available with my exact options, which I doubt will happen. I can't wait to see yours, I hope you will do a video on it. Take care & have a great week. xoxo
Hi Janet!! No, mine has been delayed due to a software update they have to do on all of the Velars already released. Ordered mine 6 months ago...got the darn thing loaded to the max and the wait has been tough!! The last I heard, was that it would be here around mid-October. SO excited for you and your new Velar!! :) I will keep you posted on when it arrives!

Awesome, that is great news for sure. I can't wait to see yours. Mine just went into production on Tuesday. Now my long wait begins. If all goes as planned, it will be here for Chritsmas. By the way when I was at the dealership, every one of the velars they have been getting in has been selling off the lot. I think they mentioned that if ordering it now, it could take 4 months. I think this will be their best selling veichle.

Since they looked so similar, were you tempted to just purchase the used one? How much would you have saved?
The bags they rent out to people are not available for sale. I have looked on pre-loved sites, and the ones listed in excellent condition are generally about $250 less expensive. If this one wasn't available after awhile, I probably would have tried that route, but really wanted it from the store, if possible. I do recommend buying Hermes pre-loved, though, knowing how well it holds up!
Love it!!🖤 I've never considered this bag before because of the fabric strap, but as you mentioned before, I could get other opinions... I totally trust in you and your taste since you recommended the Iéna which I ADORE as my every day bag😍 OMG I'm in trouble now🙈 xoxo

Thank you! It comes in many different colors, but the most popular are black, taupe, red and orange.

One last question on the CLUSE, Jennifer ... did you get the LaBoheme or the Minuit mesh style? The LaBoheme has the tick marks for each minute ... the Minuit only marks the 5, 10, 15, etc. Oh, you are a doll to help me out with your recommendation! ☺️ Thanks again! Which do you think is better, or like more, your LV Duomo cross body or this Hermes?
Hi Naomi! I haven't had the Hermes long enough to make that decision... but that's a tough one. They are both amazing bags...I believe the Hermes will hold it's value better and longer. The Duomo is totally weatherproof, where the Hermes is a little more delicate in that the clemence leather needs to be wiped down immediately if it gets wet. I'll have to get back to you on that one! :)

Yes! I LOVE it in Etoupe! I will end up getting it in that color someday, I'm sure. I chose black because I wanted my first one (from the Hermes store) to be something I would want to keep forever, and I know the black would stand the test of time better. Less worries about color transfer, pen marks and dirty strap....! :)
