Tesco weekly grocery shopping haul and main meal plan || Family of four || W/C 15th April

Hello everyone!
I hope you're all doing well and have had a good day so far. It's very windy again, here where we live!
I had a big shop to do this week, and the girls are going to be trying steak for the first time. Hannah probably won't like it, as like me, she's not a big meat fan.

It's just mashed potatoes and a bit of whatever veg leftovers you have, like broccoli, cabbage, carrots, etc, and mash it all together, form into patties and fry. Maybe you know it by a different name? It's delicious 😋

@@mercerfamily4444 In Ireland we would probably call it potato cakes. I’m definitely going to try it this week !

@marianraftery Ah, good, let me know if you like them. I always do it on the day after our roast dinner so I can make extra mash, etc. I've heard of potato cakes, but here they are doughy-bread type things.
