So pumped to see a new video already i feel spoilt lol, also the video doesn't do the truck justice in person the patina and chassis craftsmanship is amazing you boys deffently did a killer job can't wait til tomorrow's video 🤟
Haha I would say so but theres something about clean bare metal that gets me excited lol I would love to rip that thing she will be a sick street truck
Absolutely. I think the fact that it's an oddball, and not what people normally build only makes it cooler in my mind. And im glad you said it too. That split rear window has me thinking about things. Such a cool touch 😎
@@kingofbootyfab don't forget about the hood feature and that IH made these out of tank material the metal is way heavier gauge than normal!! There tough as hell..I know I've straightened a few! Real men big ass hammers 🤔🤣🤣👍❤️🙏
My first thought when I saw this truck was of your video last fall where you made the trip to bring back a bunch of International stuff. At first I wondered if this was one of those but I went back to check it out and remembered that those were even older models. Still neat to see a less-common truck like an International getting a treatment like this. The pre-made frame doesn't make for quite as much video fun but the explanation and detail about mounting the cab and rest of the body was great to see. This was a nice little change-up video and I am looking forward to Part 2.
He's still got all 3 of those, and they're coming up in the lineup soon. I realize this isn't what I'm known for, but it's leading up to what will be an awesome sheet metal project, and is a rare opportunity for myself to dive a little deep into a much higher end project, and did I mention it was fun? 😁 I guess what in getting at is, My skills and work experience cover a pretty broad range, and I'm stoked to be able to show it off, and bring you guys along for the journey, even if it's not quite my normal
His goal on this build as i understand it, is to leave all of the visible metal exactly ulhow it looks. No cutting, no welding, no modifications unless it can be hidden behind other body panels. He wants it to look like an original unmolested 1953 farm truck until you open it up or his the starter. 😎
It's such a fine line. I know why he's doing this, and I think it will look amazing, I think his approach is awesome, but I also thing you're right, I would definitely do some things differsnt if it was me. But that's want makes the industry so cool, there's room for all of us 😎
Awsome old international gonna be a beast of a truck when done
Oh man that truck look real good

Thanks man 😎
Even the chassis builder seems to like it, I'm calling it a win 😁

I hear ya. I'm hoping to drive my 39 bare metal for a bit if it's clean enough. Raw cars just feel next level.
Now in my own opinion that's not too ugly of a candidate! She's got character split window short boxish, nice frame..
Gonna be sweeeeeet

Newer chassis and drivetrain on this one. Multitasking car building skills in action.
I love the combination of generations on this one. Obviously I've seen what happens next, I promise it gets even better 😎
That's a beautiful truck to start with. I seen one at and A&W Cruz night with a 426 Hemi sitting on the ground he had a 49 Merc grill on it
It definitely is. I like it even more because it's unique. These days that's a tough thing to be.
@@kingofbootyfab usually when you find a truck like that it's beat to hell and back
Where did you get that chassis?
I hope he gets rid of the spare tire fender
