Just read an article about all the turbulence in her career. Wow! Can't believe I missed this in 2020. Good for her for self releasing, that's when the artist gets to separate from the "industry" and create authentic art that they're actually passionate about. I live for it! I will be purchasing this album on CD and adding it to my growing collection!

Great track, but way ,way too tinny....needs much more bass and fill. Jesus who produced this ! They need someone like Stephen Street on board. Even someone like Norman Cook would give a track like this more depth and punch.
Yeah, this track sounds like a unpolished demo. Don't know who is managing her career, but she needs to fire that person asap and hire someone that knows what needs to be done to bring her back on top.

But as you did, that song uses real guitars (with a ridiculously edgy and raw guitar intro that grabs the listener), piano chords that pop, and auto-tune-free vocals. This song is auto-tuned Ellie with 100% lifeless digital music in the background.

I love this song, but I agree about the chorus - something about the progression of the vocals 'twenty first century's gone' alongside the instrumental.
