Like the 4th video I've seen it. Looks like there's some smoothness issues. Thankfully it can't cause headbanging.. but it's not gonna age well, i fear. The jolt at the end & twists on the last inversion. People go "WHOA" but there bodies jolt to the side; doesn't seem intentional
Didn't know Gerstlauer made dive coaster with B&M track
Fr
Not sure where you are getting that from. This is not Gerstlauer and Gerstlauer isn't experienced with B&Ms track style. This is a full B&M ride.
@@maxhagenauer24don't think you quite get 1:02
haha!
@@maxhagenauer24 r/wooosh
They got to fix that jolt, everyone's talking about it. Probably was a construction miscue.
Everyone talking bout that jolt at the end.... Like how'd that get through testing.....
That jolt is actually insane. I can’t imagine the amount of stress it puts on the trains and structure
What about old arrows, they have jolts all over and you don’t hear people talking about how concerned they are for those structures
@@gabet3514 Remember when Arrow tried to copy B&M at Busch Gardens? It's like the shoes on the other foot here lol
Dr Diabolical has a weird shimmy in one of the corners also
@@SirMrDrProfRick-fq2lm That's a myth. Arrow never tried to copy B&M.
It’s a new element the Mctavish jolt. Just to keep you on your toes at the end lol
Yup, it's Hiram's ghost slamming the ore cart back to work! Haha
These new B&Ms seem to have a rattle problem..!
Sadly, I agree.
Yeah everyone is mentioning it, especially in the UK with Mandrill Mayhem and Nemesis Reborn
@samuraisan9223 yep, reborn was really quite severe on opening weekend. Hoping they've made some adjustments, I will be finding out on Sunday!
@@sampike5423 ooo exciting. Let us know how it is 😃😃
Diamondback has a rattle too.
This looks great. That jolt will never be rectified unless we as the public continue to bring it up to the park who could evaluate it during the off-season. I cannot imagine B&M would be happy about that ruining an otherwise great experience.
I looked at other POV's and it appears the right-outer rail on the curve heading into the brake run has a VERY slight flat spot, affecting the articulation of the wheels navigating the turn. Watch how it affects Taylor's head VS. Sarah & Tyler's at @1:01...
Fixable, but something tells me it won't be.
If you watch offride videos of the zero g roll, you can see the entire train shake/wobble at the very top of the inversion and the same can be said for the corkscrew so it seems like there's some severe quality control issues
Oh dear. Their first brand-new coaster in nearly twenty years and it’s rattly. 😭 Damnit B&M.
Same park as hydra, which also has a massive rattle problem.. Something in the soil?
@@hiveminded741yeah but talon is basically glass smooth in my opinion
@@hiveminded741 Hydra was built 19 years ago lol
@@braydon_v True, but Hydra and Iron Menace are in line with each other near the bottom of the valley while Talon is not. I could be completely wrong but its just a thought
@@hiveminded741bad soil would only cause a rattle, it wouldnt cause the jolts this ride has, somehow b&m has un-evolved their track profiling
How many jolt ? Wtf
That jolt 😳😬
That jolt at the end reminded me of the jolt in the smilers cobra roll 🤣
Interesting how it also has 7 across seats like Dr Diabolical.
Looks amazing! Going this summer! That jolt looks terrible though...
Ive been through worse, shaman at gardaland has a rlly terrible jolt where i smashed my head into the metal bar of the vest restrains, they had to put cushions on there
I don't know if you heard but our reps were their yesterday...so let's hope this means we finally get that invert💯💯🥰🥰😍😍 hashtag vf invert..we way over due for something..its our time now..as much as dorney got the dive..I don't see a dive working as good at like dorney..we need something inversion based..ie the invert.. some that goes upside more then cork.like 5 inversions... something whippy..compact..old school..like talon/after burner...not new gen..like banshee...so I'm hopefully soon buy 26' i guess time will tell.....💯💯🥰🥰😍😍
It looks like a bigger version of Baron 1898 with some slight changes
Yeah, except that one is smooth
@@waltbackaert8578 it doesn’t look that shaky from the POV’s
Taylor’s face when riding this thing is like most people on a 20 foot tall kiddie coaster😆
Looks fun. No midcourse break is good, just speeding through the layout. But the jolt really looks and sounds painful.
That jolt at the end seems pretty strong. Can see it in El Toro Ryan's video too. Hopefully its not something that gets worse over time.
That's cool y'all were at Dorney Park. I'm only an hour and 15 minutes from the park. I'll most likely visit Dorney next year as this summer's all about Universal Orlando, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens Tampa, Hersheypark, & Knoebels. Iron Menace looks like a great ride and I'm glad that for the first time since 2005 Dorney Park gets a new coaster.
Interesting the park wanted to go this route but it looks really decent for its short layout.
Surprised they didn’t mention the jolt I’ve heard there is a pothole somewhere but man this could be a big issue in the future hopefully it works itself out
I'm very excited. Dorney is one of my homeparks
That must be the Iron Menace that the ride is named after.
RIP channel intro :(
Thanks! How was the laying down loop experience? Looks fast for a dive 👍
Surprised the ride had that huge jolt at the end and it’s already very rattly…
Recently that seems to be the case with b&m. Not sure why
@CoasterManiac2000 It's weird because B&Ms are know to be extremely smooth and reliable coasters. I don't expect it to be perfectly smooth but it shouldn't have that big of a jolt when it just opened. Maybe it was something with the structure of the footers in the ground or how the track connects to the next peice of track.
@@maxhagenauer24they changed the material they used for the track because it’s too expensive now because some ressource are becoming more rare
@wildearth3992 Oh for the steel or concrete? Because isn't steel just steel? Or is there multiple material in steel? I'm not a civil or structural engineer so I don't know how that works.
Outside of the jolt at the end most riders have said it’s smooth. I don’t think it has a rattle more like some transitions are still a little sharp but they can smooth out over time.
Does it have a rattle to it? Only wondering because Nemesis Reborn has one and Mandrill Mayhem is quite bouncy on one side, not sure if Maximus has anything wrong with it and if any other USA ones like Pipeline do or not.
It does, modern b&m is just very rattley now
It has a bad rattle. Like, really bad
Brand new coaster in 2024 shaking their brains out? Not a good sign
It's themed to an old steel mill. The rattle is part of the experience.
Off topic but are you guys going to the TopThrill2 pre launch event? 28th - 2nd at Cedar Point, tickets available now for pass holders and media.
we do not have passes that were purchased through Cedar Point, so we are not eligible to attend those days.
1:02 OUCH! 😂😂
what is it with B&M dive coasters with a mine theme
Looks short, but fun.
Now build one at Michigan's Adventure!
How does it compare to other dive machines. The OG oblivion is at my home park and other than that I've only done Baron at Efteling. Baron is definitely better but Oblivion is the still the only coaster at Alton Towers that still makes me nervous even though I've riden every thing there dozens of times since I was a kid lol
Would you prefer iron menace over Dr Diabolicals Cliffhanger?
What happened to B&M they did Dorney so dirty with the shakiness and that jolt. It looks like an awesome ride but that is unacceptable for how expensive this ride probably was.
I’m worried for Kings Dominion’s new addition if this is what B&M is putting out nowadays 😫
Yeah it’s so weird, for some reason all their new coasters after the pandemic have some rattle
So happy you guys got on this awesome new dive coaster! ❤
I'm going in a week!!!!
I just missed you guys 😢
@coasterstudios what was your highlight of the ride
Im so jealous... Have a great time for me.
It has 5 whole elements
Is that rough?
Looks good
No
@@Carter-nl2 yes.
@Carter-sc2vo it's a very good ride. don't know what you're talking about
@@Themeparkfan630 don't know what you're talking about
@Carter-sc2vo don't know what this coaster did to you but okay.
dang, looks pretty good, but it looks surprisingly rough for a new b&m
It’s the roughest B&M I’ve ridden. It’s WAY worse than it looks in the video.
Is that Sarah with lipstick on? 👀 #BoujieMenace 😂❤💄
Are you guys there Friday too? I've always wanted to say hi.
We are not
I shouldve went !
Coaster “Greyed out a little bit there” Studios
glad I aint the only one who noticed this. Seems like a lot of the coaster community 'greys out'
B&M is starting to lose it with the track smoothness... they have always been known for having silky smooth track, so the fact that some of their newer rides have jolts is a bit concerning. Stay with it B&M.
It could be Clermont too since they are the ones who make the track.
Hi Taylor and Sarah, I want to know how coaster studios became successful and is able to attend these media days. I am a small channel with 4,536 subscribers as I need to grow my channel more.
Hello! We’ve been hard at work growing the channel for over 10 years now, striving to put out the best videos we possibly can covering as many places as possible!
Looks much like Valravn at Cedar Point! I don’t see much of a difference! Peace.
How many trains does this thing have
Two trains with 3 cars per train seating 7 across.
That looks so shaky
B&ms quality control is falling off a cliff
@@Carter-nl2the new b&m's in the UK nemesis reborn and Mandrill mayhem both have a rattle too, something has definitely changed with B&M.
@@Rabbitzz interesting
@@Rabbitzz Wing coasters always have a rattle, and isn't nemesis reborn just a partial retrack of an older ride?
@@shamrock6975full retrack
I think I passed by this park
How have B&M declined in terms of build quality this much? Never thought I'd see a future where Vekoma are building significantly smoother coasters than B&M.
This is rougher than a Ryanair landing
About the same prime ride time as hyperia
Nah hyperia is about 10 seconds longer
True lol
Hope they fix that shimmying
1:02 🤔🤔🤔
why do the new B&M''s and Intamins have a slight rattle?!
New material they use for manufacturing. You know because of inflation some ressource became more expensive, while other just became more rare.
B&M realy having issues with newer coasters. Nemesis reborn is roughhhh
Ridden it 6 times feels smooth to me. It sounds rattly but feels fine. It feels quicker and snappier than before.
Sheikra gives me a headache and by the looks of it this will do the same.
That jolt was the first thing I noticed, and I’m glad other people are seeing it too cause wtf 😂
Yeah enjoy this one because they won’t get on for over the next 20 years.
Really feel parks have missed the trick with not following Oblivions example and having the drop into a hole. I understand it is costly but it what sets apart Oblivion from the other Dive coasters. That feeling the train isn't quite going to fit when you get to the top, the rush of air when you enter the tunnel. Looks good otherwise apart from the jolt.
Oblivion looks amazing. At least Griffon at Busch Gardens Williamsburg goes under and over a bridge with guests walking across which added more to the intensity. I was hoping Iron Menace would have done something similar considering it's half the length. Looks like there should of have been potential to do either but for some reason they decided to drop just to the ground.
Exactly. Still to this day for what a dive coaster is meant to do, oblivion does it the best. Others are just better because it has a proper layout
Baron 1898 also goes down a hole.
El Toro Ryan beat you 😂 he posted first
I don't know what the deal is with the jolt at the end
Well to be fair, Knotts hasn't had a large thrill ride since 2004's Silver Bullet (I don't count Hangtime, although it's nice, it's a Mid-tier ride), and knott's is the crown jewel of attendance in Cedar Fair's/Six Flags 20+ park portfolio.
New B&Ms have terrible build quality
Way too short…. Shakey for a new coaster…. They should of went Hershey route and rmc
Remember that Hershey is only an hour down the road- Great Adventure is also relatively close. So that's two big parks nearby that both have RMC coasters. Dorney wanted something that would be different from nearby competitors!
Looks janky, even for modern day B&M
I think it looks really short and boring
I’m so happy for Dorney. The park could’ve built a generic dive coaster but they went the extra mile and made it a total themed experience. Well done to the park and I can’t wait for my first ride!
I think it looks really short and boring
Its a dive coaster. Dive coasters are always short. It doesn't look very boring to me though, lots of fun looking hangtime.
So happy for Dorney Park!
