I saw them in Birmingham, Alabama with Agalloch. Spoke with Stevie for a short while after the show. Her offstage presence is very contradictory to the intense beast (this is a compliment ) displayed onstage. They are unique, focused, and heavy beyond words.
Very obscure and different, its easy to see why people wouldn't enjoy them, music that evokes thought isn't for everybody. Personally i thought they were amazing, and am still very intrigued. I'm just dying to know the name of the film playing in the back ground.
I saw them at Empire (formerly Jaxx) on Saturday. I've been to well over a hundred concerts and, honestly, this is one of the worst bands I've ever seen. Fortunately, I was there to see Agalloch and they were awesome, so it was all good in the end.

I dug their set...they didn't speak a word to the audience, and were so isolated, yet so powerful.
Just caught them opening for Agalloch in Tampa, and I really dug their show. VERY unique and an acquired taste no doubt, but I loved them
They aren't for everyone. But if you find yourself attuned to what they are doing, you will find yourself transported, and you will live them for it.
