It's .25 cent day at the thrift store! Today we go live game & toy hunting at one of my favorite flea markets. Literally every single item was only a quarter and we went home with a huge 80s / 90s nostalgia haul! Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, Power Rangers, Batman items and more were all scored! I love hunting for the toys, games and movies of my childhood at flea markets and second hand stores! Also I may have put 1 too many 90s commercials in this video...i had to! Thank you guy for stopping by and checking out the video.

I’ve never seen a quarter day. That’s amazing.
Yea
How do you have 252 subs but no vids
If you still live in FL, go to Okeechobee
Me nether
I LOVED how you cut in the actual commercials, SO nostalgic! Awesome Vid!
the invisible action figure is harry potter, the blue guy with red eyes is mr freeze from batman
I've never watched or read Harry Potter but I was pretty sure it was him so thanks for confirming lol
I thought it was the page master the clear guy
You must be about 24
@@ryansaintx3759 though the same xD

Dude I would have left with so much. The hoarder in me would have been BEAMING to go to a sale like this
hahaha i know right...i had to really discipline myself lol
@@retrorick yeah man I can imagine! I live in Miami and they would never have a sale like this one here in a million years. The community around here is super stingy!
I remember the golden Pokémon cards from Burger King when I was a kid
oh heck ya! i actually never see them...i want the set
I went to watch the movie in theaters with my mom and after the movie was done , we walked to the BK 40 feet away from the exit , got the meal with the gold pokemon card inside the pokeball , idk how i remember that still but something i still have to this day in a box somewhere.
I remember that too
Brings back memory’s still have the Pokémon balls from Burger King
The McDonald’s food items that transformed into dinosaurs were my favorite happy meal toys growing up. I even still have them all!
oh my gosh yes...i found the set of those at a thrift store recently!
I remember that show.. it was either after or before Family Matters. Great TGIF sitcoms.
Everything around here is "Ebay price" day.
Hahahaha exactly.
You not looking through the clothes literally KILLED MEEEE
did you not watch his intro?
Lol 😆
25 cent sale... Goes for toys that usually cost at most a buck at garage sales. Ignores all the stuff that's usually 10-50 dollars
@Mr. Grotto 😂
I love that you put the ads in to show the original product - so cool!
Best McDonalds you I ever had was when McDonalds had Mickey Mouse Band plushes. They were so big and plush, but had hard hats, face and feet!
Those commercials take me straight back! I remember those!
The "at some point someone wanted that" killed me for some reason. Love the videos man keep them coming!
hahaha well its true...i dont know who they are though LOL
That's amazing I wish they had deals like that in my area.
i love quarter day at the thrift store!
@@retrorick did they have any old cassette tapes or old vhs movies??
If I knew of anything like this in my area, I'd be all over it.
I miss the good quality plushies that they used to sell and my father would always get it for me.
I lived less than a mile away from St Josephs in Conway for about a year. Small world, keep up the good work 👍
What state?
@@donnaalbritton9738 i think Kansas
No this is South Carolina
I lived in Conway 5 years ago
Is Rad dews still open?
The clear action figure is Harry potter invisibility cloak version by mattel. 2001 ish. Wish I found that!! I am a Harry Potter collector. I have been watching videos for a few months now. I am a north little rock native leave some for the rest of us!! LOL
ohhh, i thought it was like “the invisible man” action figure
@@XEVANSAWYER he is missing the cloak
@@alisonprice506 ahh gotcha
Thats what I thought too
This is gold my dude, gold!!!!!!!! When my kid was in elementary school, I'd chaperone at recess and all the kids called me "NOT THE MOMMA" . I had a Dinosaurs tshirt and educated them on the classic "BABY". good stuff as always!!
hahahaha one of the most memorable quotes of my childhood!
This is legitimately one of my favorite videos of yours. We need another version that’s 2 hours long.
QUARTER DAY
I remember McDonald's giving cassette tapes with music. That's my favorite as a kid.
The dude by Spidey is Mr.Freeze from Batman -- Imaginext series.
The iCarly Fortune meatball is my most memorable McDonald’s toy 😂
OMG 😂
“The meatball says no” “the answer is yes” pretty sure I found one of those meatballs buried in dirt
7:38 Gosh I’m a sucker for those unique and cute decorations! Would’ve went home with at least 3 bags full 😂
there's a place where I live called jasper junction, they do half off Tuesdays & Thursdays, and discount Mondays. Its a place were you are free to haggle with all the vendors any day of the week, even on the discount days.
Wow! What a set up! I would have been there all day long! This is the first time I’ve ever heard about a .25 cent day, EVER! I was grown and had two children the first time I ever ate at McDonald’s! So I don’t have a favorite toy, but I certainly enjoyed watching your video today and now, I am a new subscriber!
This video gave my so much nostalgia! My favorite was the gold plated Pokémon cards with the Pokéballs at Burger King. Also I had to have all the Disney Lion king plates and cups and I loved Lisa Frank, and had every Polly Pocket toy there was.
I wish I could find a place doing a qtr day. As always great video!!
I think the most memorable McDonald's toy for me was those tiny keychain lightsabers. The kids on the McDonald's Playplace would have turf wars based on the color of the lightsaber they got in their happy meal.
OMG the memories!!!!! Thanks for sharing!
That's amazing, jaw dropped! I would be in trouble if they had something like that here lol
I wish we had quarter day here :( that’s so cool!!
I have a store here in Eagle Pass, Tx. We sell Amazon overstock and I have $0.25 event days. The older ladies go crazy on those days.
I found a 50 cent day a few years ago. Trust me everybody it is sooo awesome to find one! Love you and your channel, glad I found it. Happy collecting! 😃😃😃
I was also OBSESSED with the Toy Story line from BK when the movie came out. I had a full set minus RC. Problem was he was recalled and never ended up finding him
me too! Those were amazing
That's crazy is right! So exciting to see prices that low. Imagine the bundles you can flip online.
Those Batman cups at 7:18 are awesome brings back alot of memories. The Ritter cup was the most common one while Batman I believe was really hard to come by.
I just saw a quick glimpse of your game room, I about popped of envy. Wow, I love nostalgia, especially toys and video games.
Where is this sale? What city and state. I saw alot I would've bought!! Love the video
My most memorable mcdonalds toy was the California raisins..I loved them things lol
Me too Timothy. I think I had a whole set of them.. Cinnamon Toast Crunch bank was cool to own.
Loved the Garfield & Muppet babies with vehicles, the McNugget buddies were dope & of course anything Nintendo! Can’t forget Stompers!
MMPR and BTTF are items my husband’s collecting. Great variety! OMG, I totally forgot about Yikes pencils!
Speaking of just missing an awesome toy... years ago I went to a Goodwill and was in the toy section and saw this lady putting 4 sealed boxes of 1980s Strawberry Shortcake dolls into her cart. They were priced at $2 each. Just made me sick haha 😄
Where is this??? Can you pls include addresses of where you go.
Muppet Babies were my all time favorite Happy Meal toys. I just recently found the entire set at an antique mall!
Those were my favorite too... I actually have a few of them.. Someone (Gonzo, I believe...) on a Big Wheels, baby Kermit in a yellow high chair. So nostalgic. :)
wow good finds lucky you! thanks for taking us along with you! great to look too!
I probably would have spent alot more money if I was at a quarter day sale.
What town and state was the .25 sale day in?
that right there those batman cups remind me of my grandmother that past away she used to bring me those batman and the flintstones cups from McDonald so much nostalgia. great memories!
Love the derpy mario plush, it has a certain charm to it. Also looks great in the background of Pat & Ian's CUP podcast.
haha he is so derpy hes cool!
I remember when my cousin found all the Pokémon gameboy games for 25 cents a piece at a garage sale. And I’ve been jealous ever since lol
holy crap...what a find!
I think the only thing I could get in my area for a quarter would be a marble or a rubber band 😀😂
Bahahhaha
What an incredible concept! What a load of fun! Sadly, I have no happy meal toy memories. We literally never went for fast food.
Same here, except, for subway. Or the 3 weight watcher point ice cream 😂 at McDonald’s since my mom took out her eating disorder on us, but we 100% had those McDonald toys from thrift stores
Your intro alone is the reason YT needs to make a "love" button. I am so excited to watch this video!!!
Where is this at? What city or state 😂😻
8:52 thanks for giving me PTSD
hahahaha i know right!
Good episode! I don't remember "the coolest or most memorable one" but I remember my Mom was willing to square up to help us get all the music clips of Britney,Backstreet,NYSNC !!!!!
Found your channel now I'm hooked! I wish in my area we had a place like that but we don't, because I absolutely love thrifting and I have so many Collectibles myself. People think I'm crazy when they see some of the stuff I have but they just don't know plus it's a throwback to when I was little! When I worked at a thrift store it was awesome we would get these bags of toys and half of it would be Collectibles from the 80s and 70s and I still have them the joys of perks of working for a thrift store
That's an awesome haul and all for a quarter each. Love the vhs and figures! Great job with the vid retro! 👊
I remember the Men in black toys with the agents that had slime on them, I was so excited for that movie and still one of my favorite movies of all time, I watch it like every year lol
Man that's Mickey D's toys always give me a nostalgia blast. Love it!
I'm so glad I found your channel...I love these type of videos. Thanks for the amazing content!
I’m glad you did too...pumped you are enjoying it!
Congratulations on 20K subscribers Ric. You deserve all the success in the world.
thank you so much for the kind words!
I wish we had something like this around me. Just seems like a sweet thing to go find some random things. Also Back to the Future will always hold a special place in my heart. That was the first movie I remember watching when I first moved the the USA. My cousin had to translate for me as we watched it 😂
my favorite movie of all time!
@@retrorick such a classic
RU-FI-O I totally remember that one. I loved that movie Hook! Love those glasses, I have some of those and Flintstones. I have Channel Surfing too!
This is heaven! I love treasure hunts in those types of fair. Wish there were more of these close to my town :
That M&M guy at 7:28 reminds me of the string lights I had when I was little in the early 90's 🥺
I remember having a Batmobile toy that had a button on the top where the cockpit would shoot out the front. I believe it was for Batman Returns.
oh nice! I had soooo many batman figures back in the day!
new to your channel, and I loved quarter day.. that was some great finds I love retro toys..
The teenie beanie babies were my favorite happy meal toys growing up
Still watching and loving all your videos bro. You and Ed’s retro geek out are my favorite retro channels.
ed is my boy!!!! thank you for the kind words
you've got one of my favorite themes for your opening, love hearing it.
Congrats on 20k. Keep great videos coming
The stoppers on those water games used to perish over time, so no surprise it was missing!
You saying at 6:19 calling the rig rats character Chucky killed me 😂😂
I use to have those power ranger toys minus the burger king big head. I also had the Rufio toy and two of those Batman Forever glasses. Wow great trip down memory lane. Thanks fir sharing.
Love this! Quarter for everything's...I'd have had a full cart. Great finds!
Love the vlog style videos.....Man, I remember those Batman Forever cups when they came out as a kid. Can't believe you got them for a quarter each. I also have that T2 DVD. So dang good. We don't have any quarter days that I know of. But I'm gonna start looking for them. Most of my places are $25 days, not $.25 days lol.
I am thinking about doing more videos like this for my thurs video...helps cut down on editing haha
Awesome video. Watching these commercials brings back soooooo many memories. I miss the old days when movies were fantastic action figures were more impressive than now lol just everything back then was more memorable than now honestly for me keep up the good work whish I had that kind of store. Shit I remember when I was little we had penny store anyone remember them?
Never have I seen a quarter day flea market sales day, WOWZERS! Good thing I'm not a drinker, everytime you say for a .25 I would be toasted!lol
I got most of my PS2 and Xbox 360 games from my Goodwill. Usually $3 but I cleaned up whenever those colors were half price. BUT A QUARTER!! I would buy EVERYTHING at a quarter!! Awesome find!!
Thank you my friend...nice to know another goodwill hunter!
Wow we need this here where I live. You got all the stuff I would have got. 🤣
The transforming food items and the mcnuggets were my favorite happy meal toys.
No way!!!!! I totally had that exact same PowerRanger watch when I was a kid....completely forgot about that!! So cool!!!
My local thrift store used to do a 25 cent clothes section. Place went out of business because of COVID. But that was heaven for me, especially with three kids when I couldn't try things on, I'd just grab 4 and hope for one!
The 90s ads killed me 😂I loved that so much nostalgia in 1 video
So sick! Congrats on 20k dude!
thank you my dude! You next
They are smart with a great way to help move stock and a great finds. Where we used to live whenever the catholic church would have the spring fling and fall festival in order to move stock from the thrift store and from the donations to sale, they would have various tables that sold items from a nickle to two dollars, these items they sell from 12noon until2pm to 5pm or until the time its over that weekend, its a church fundraiser. I like that flea market I would be there every year whnever they have bless them. Thank you st.joseph!!!!
We have nothing like this in the UK! Then again we couldn't have a big outdoor mart like this - the bins would be full of rain water in half an hour! LOL Great video, thanks for sharing.
I'm new to your channel and I love your videos. I've never heard of a $0.25 day at a flea market. I would LOVE that
Wow nostalgia! You got some great deals there. The goofy with bowling bowl. I remember them as a kid they were from burger King I had Max from the collection. My sister used to work at burger King so I used to get a lot of toys. I've given them away since 😔
Love the muppets movies.
the nostalgia is real my friend!
Loved the McDonald 101 Dalmatians and the little dolls that were made into Wizard of Oz characters.
Mine definitely were the transforming items they had or the beanie babies. Not that I was into the beanies but my older sister was so I remember driving all over looking for different ones lol. Man I wish I could find a place that did sales like this. My wife would kill me! lol. Aw heck remember the rugrats watches lol just found mine while watching this video and cleaning up old boxes.
Quarter day was awesome! Great haul!
I wish we have something like this! My Salvation Army used to have the $0.25 section but then they closed all of their stores in my state...
When I was about 12, my mom worked for Tomy. The QC dept was always giving her toys for me to play with and provide feedback. I was a pretty lucky kid. Seeing that ring toss game brought back many memories. Oh, and Tomy threw some kick-ass company picnics!
5:19 - The McDonald's Happy Birthday Happy Meal from 1994. That was released as a tie-in with the Happy Meal's 15th anniversary, and it had characters from many different franchises, including Barbie, Sonic the Hedgehog, Peanuts, the Berenstain Bears, the 1984 version of Muppet Babies, Tiny Toon Adventures, and others. I still have some of the toys from that promotion from my childhood, namely Ronald in the Happy Meal-shaped engine, Sonic in a TV with a Model 2 Sega Genesis on top, and Snoopy in a pipe organ.
Wow had to subscribe.. wow I haven't seen these toys in forever .. I was born in the very early 80's and my favorite toy were the transformer nuggets and burger and fries .. loves them so much .. I'm from Texas and we have stuff like this there but I currently live in California so I don't have those places here .. ty again
The Earthday binoculars take me back my dads first job in the states was Mc Donald’s needless to say I had a ton of happy meal toys as a kid
Yes! So many memories!
I wish we had something like this in my area!
Can u imagine unpacking and packing all that, especially the glassware..Those ladies are beasts.
My favourite Mcdonald toys when I was younger were the TY dogs with the small bodies and huge heads that were too big for their bodies and then they'd massive plastic eyes 😂 I was obsessed with collecting them
I had a similar experience when it comes to forgetting things. I saw a retro Goosebumps board game and I forgot it had even existed despite owning a copy as a kid 😂
