Flying with Gulf Air for Umrah 2022 I Post Covid I London to Bahrain to Madinah

Gulf Air is one the cheapest airlines to travel with for umrah. We flew with Gulf Air which stops at its base airport in Bahrain before onwards to Madinah.
The plane, seats and comfort was surprisingly good and I would recommend it if you are going on your own but not as a family.
The biggest disadvantage is that the total journey time is 11hrs plus with a stopover which can be very difficult for the elderly and with children. Additionally, you need to check the timetable and since Gulf Air departs at 21:50 in the evenining it does not arrive until 12:15 the next day, so you alrady lose a day to flying which means less time spent in the Haramain.
