I have always been a great fan of Vampire stories and of course Bram Stokers wonderfully imaginative book was an early read for me. It is amazing that places like Bran Castle attract so many when the connection to the stories and legends are so tenuous. It always surprises that places like this and others like "Juliet`s Balcony" in Verona attract so many people even though they are so obviously false connexions. I am finally able to catch up a bit while enjoying the holiday season (currently in Vienna). Interested to see the chimney cakes which Hungary claims as a local invention. Last week in Prague they were being described as a Czech traditional "delicacy". Have a great New Year.
