Great question. Get ready for a long answer haha. When I get really stressed or overwhelmed, I think how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time, right? You figure out what the biggest problem is and you attack that problem. And then once you solve that problem, you go to the next biggest problem, and then you attack that one, and then you figure out the next biggest problem, and you attack that one, and you just start knocking down dominoes. If you look at it from a holistic approach of everything that you've got to do, you're not gonna be able to sleep at night. You can be very pressured, very stressed out, a lot of anxiety, blood pressure's gonna go up, all that stuff. But if you think about one thing and you attack that thing today and you solve this one thing... boom. It sets you up for the next day and then the next day and the next day. If you're doing that, eventually you pick your head up and see that you solved a lot of problems that completely repositioned your portfolio or your business or whatever sort of hurdles that you might be facing. Also, if you're not already in a group, I highly recommend joining one. There are a ton of inexpensive or even free meetups for entrepreneurs out there, both virtual and in person. Joining masterminds changed my business, changed my life, and being around other entrepreneurs who are facing similar problems to yours can be really reassuring. They can be a sounding board for the hurdles you might be facing (just talking things out can be a huge help for anxiety/depression) and if it's a good group, they can offer great practical advice for how to get over those hurdles. Hope that helps!
@LegacyWealth I read every word, and thank you for taking the time to reply. My mind is the opposite, a constant storm of thoughts and worries. I'll need to work on this, and practice ignoring all the other thoughts and concerns. For the group, I am part of a group that I paid 10k to be in, and it's definitely not what I thought it would be. Can't speak directly to a mentor and it's so large, that there are too many people giving different answers, and most are not experts, just other newbies. I'll need to find a small group of experienced people who are willing to help (which sounds impossible as I type it out). If you know of any free groups with pros that are willing to help, could you please share? Thanks again for your reply and support. Take care!
The stories in our head can create devastation. They can create whatever we want.
How do you avoid anxiety and depression? Specifically when you never seen to make progress on your goals?
