Hey man, don't stop making videos. We enjoy your stuff.
Dude, you make good videos. More please!
Thank you so much, I appreciate that.
Truly class videos, cheers from the states!
When are you coming back
You know it's a good car repair video if food utensils are being used as tools... #RichRebuilds
Start saving some mk3's bmac!
Nice video, mate. One guestion, if is possible to make a video with brake system on mk4 golf? My brake pedal is starting to work almost at the end....somebody told me is posible to be the servo, or maybe a lossing vacum....i dont know...
long time no video brother, all good there ?
Alright mate any tips on changing a mk4 golf tandem pump ?
hi there my speedometer and rev counter both stopped working today,is it likely both motors packed up at the same time or could it be something else
were they fading out or was it all of a sudden?
@@BMACVAGS they work sometime but most of the time there both at 0.
If they don't move when I start the car they won't move at all, they will sometime work when I start the car and continue to work while the car is running
Great video, please can you tell me what lights up the temp and fuel needles?
On the Audi A4 B5 instrument cluster, it is SMD LEDs all over the board and there is one SMD LED in each "needle axel tunnel" to light up the needle. The white plastic part he puts aside to the right @7:36 is mainly for directing SMD LED light to where the light needs to go. This is my guess after just disassembling the cluster. I won't buy anything tho, it is for a friend's cheap Audi A4 and I just wanted to see if there were some bad soldering points to fix. My initial thought was that the LCD had a "conductive rubber strip" as in the "olden days" and it just needed some antioxidant spray to fix the lost segments in the display.
BMAC where you at.
Hey bro slightly out of topic, my friends scirocco passenger side frameless coupe window stopped dropping and raising automatically when the door is opened or closed. Someone with vcds spent hours coding and recording the door module still no luck. The window works perfectly fine from the door card switches. When unlock button on the fob is held for few secs all the windows go down, but the passenger side window would not go back up when lock button is held. If you can kindly shed some possible solution on it would be highly appreciated. Some other people on forums having similar issues but no one really mentions a solutions. Once again thanks bro
I had this crap go out on my old B6 Passat, they also like to get real dim under temperatures. Had it sent to the dealership, these are apparently coded for the specific vehicle so replacements aren't available or easy. The dealership sent mine to a specialist but it was never fully restored. I no longer have the car but it tought me a ton about planned obsolescence, cheap plastic shit that cracks & peels, oil leaks bad A/C compressors, & various electrical issues... Don't buy high mileage anything, & despise electronic gimmicks that aren't made to last.
I have a mk4 pd 130, the speedo and the fuel gauge are faulty. Fuel light bongs all the time is a pain. Any help cheers
Hi?
I have a Volkswagen golf instrument cluster that has the following faults: the speedo and the rev counter are all stuck at zero, there is an immobilizer light, the odometer display is showing DEF, there is no sound and the temp and fuel gauges are flickering. What could be the problem and what solution would you suggest?
My speedo isn't working after removing the needle. Have I broken the motor?
Do you have a video like this but for the Golf MK4? Half my instrument cluster doesn't work (the speedometer and fuel indicator) and I'd like to take it apart and check if it's bad connectors or something like that! Thx
CasualGamerPT I was going to say the same thing but for a VW EOS “basically a MK5 golf 👍
@CasualGamePT There are a few videos around concerning the mk4 cluster. They have the same annoying problem.
I need to repair the cluster it burned
all the tt owners will go mental after this video lol

Gud vedeo.
My temp gauge reads a little to high.... how do I make the needle go perfectly in the middle when warmed up.?
