- The Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono RVE makes me feel like me kid again! If you haven't guessed already, I LOVE this motorcycle. Got mine a week now, Termignoni pipes on it, intentions: take as much roundabouts as possible.. we have a lot of them in the Netherlands, Europe. Learn wheelies… maybe some day on a circuit and backing it in…..

The Hypermotard 698 does not take itself too seriously and I love that aspect. It's pure fun at its core. I've yet to touch any of my other bikes since I got this one.
from what i have seen so far as someone who knows someone that has one, i love it, Duc did it right, looks on point, engine sounds and performance amazing, the price... well that the only thing im a little skeptical about. But the bike looks sounds much better than it older brother the hypermotard.
It's hands down this bike is incredibly fun. I haven't touch any of my other bikes since I took delivery. The bike doesn't take itself too seriously.
Standard one for me and save the £1000 on accessories that suit me and then learn the tricks/wheelies/skids on a lighter more manageable bike before translating that to the 950
Out the door here in the US, you'd be looking at roughly 17K. Roughly the price of a 950. I actually enjoy doing wheelies with the mono more than the bigger Hyper.
Nice bike man. Like the bike but when I get mine will derestrict it straight away. Soon bike will be hacked and we get access to tune AFR. But changing only filter and air filter guard gives like 10% of power in the middle rpm range without exhaust. After adding proper exhaust and mapping will be a rocketship.
Why are you using the clutch when you have qs/autoblip?
I use it but not all the time. I do enjoy engaging with the bike ei...shifting/downshifting. However, if I intending to just go as fas as I can, I use the quickshifter.

Use clutch while daily driving around town is probably better for it any ways less wear I can assume

Traded my Panigale v2 for the mono so the mono will be my only streetbike. The reasons are more versitile, more fun, easier and more hooligan. I am an trackinstructor so i do many trackdays and i am sure that the mono will be as fast (probably faster) as the Pani due to quite small tracks in Sweden. Recieved mine two days a go and can not stop smiling
I believe the 698 Mono makes for a more fun street riding experience. I own several bikes and yet to touch any of the others since I received the RVE.

That's a first. Most people experience is that the single cylinder sounds pretty good stock. I'd recommend heading to a dealer for a test ride to experience it. I can't wait for my exhaust/tune.
