Cream cheese buns: SOFT and FRAGRANT!

  • INGREDIENTS
    190ml (3/5 cup) of milk
    1 egg
    70g (1/3 cup) of sugar
    1/3 tsp of salt
    7g of dry yeast
    350g (2 3/4 cups) of flour
    50g of butter
    240g of cream cheese
    70g (1/3 cup) of sugar
    20g of butter
    20g of sugar
    20g of flour
    10g of milk
    Egg wash

    METHOD
    1. In a bowl mix together milk with sugar and yeast. Add in butter, egg, flour, and salt. Let the dough rise for about 40 minutes, in another bowl mix cream cheese and sugar.
    2. Divide the dough into 6 balls, roll out each, and fill with cheese mixture. Transfer to the baking dishes and cut with scissors. Let it rise for 30 minutes.
    3. Spread with the egg wash and decorate with the butter and flour mixture.
    4. Bake at 180°C (360°F) for 20 minutes.
