I was lucky enough to be inside NC Blade when the Demko MG AD20 Drop Point 3V Titanium was getting ready to drop and honestly thought I would have got the textured ti but actually liked the smooth ti better so grabbed it. I happen to have a set of Skiff Bearing for it so dropped them in and it really smoothed out the action. Either way, they're both nice, and very happy I finally got one. Thanks for the vid even though I'm a year late :)
The extra $200 for titanium is excessive unless your thinking about these in Hinderer fashion, then it’s par for the course. I’m good with just getting the g-10, though nice, to me it’s not worth the extra bump in price.
I own the near exact set of AD-20’s featured in your video (black G-10 versus green) with 2 more variants coming. Ya, I’m in deep. Actually, if you consider the rear side of the pivot the balance point (the front of your index finger while gripping), the G-10 is near balanced, whereas the titanium is more handle heavy than the G-10. However, anyone willing to spend $425, yet likes the aesthetics, durability and solid smooth unmilled titanium handles, they can wrap the $200 around the plastic handle to smooth out the roughness of the G-10 😂
Just getting caught up after someone breathed covid on me.. Great content as always.. now if Gil can source a 20CV slotted black G10.. and ship to the UK.. I'd be throwing my money his way.. not much on my wishlist and money is burning a hole in my pocket lmao 😂🤣🤣😂
He is getting more in soon. Shoot him a message directly I’m sure he can hook you up on pricing. I would think he would ship yo the UK. I know I have a number of times with no issues.
Ha! Gil done screwed me outta mine. I asked him months ago to set one aside for me or notify me before he listed them on their website. Sold them all before any communication. I asked him about it and he claimed he didn’t know that they would sell out so fast. 😆 Nice job, Gil!
Well I’m not making excuses but I think he was surprised and didn’t realize. Plus it’s hard to hold things for people. Hell I can’t keep track if things I say I might sell so I get it.
@@DirkWerning it’s all good. I ended up getting a full ti from River’s Edge Cutlery a week before so I’m not upset. I just thought it was interesting because I asked him at least 3 different times about it. I offered to give Wild About Sporting Goods a deposit for any trouble, so I sort of knew there weren’t going to be any guarantees in regards to special treatment.
@@DirkWerning I understand. I think that AD20 compact with the “Sharksfoot” blade looks really interesting. If I’m able to get one of those upon their release I would probably sell my other AD20. I have a G10 in a DLC regrind blade. It’s a compound tanto-y / hollow that’s really good looking. The DLC looks like what Hinderer use to do where it’s got a high polish on it.
@@DirkWerning I went whaleshark. It's big and beautiful but quite obviously blade heavy in g10. Have some OG titanium on order, going to see if I can get it to eight ounces.
This is definitely the model I want. High on the grail list for sure. Hopefully the 20.5 can tide me over. Congratulations on 3k! Great video 👍
Thanks really appreciate it.
I think a mini version of this in Ti, slimmer in all.dimensions in tanto, would be the greatest thing since sliced bread.
the dlt tanto in the 20.5 is pretty fucking amazing
NICE! I'll be supporting Gil if l ever get lucky and find one on the site 🤣 👊

All good man. Love seeing people watching a year later so thank you.
I love the non-Ti I have now. Fidget factor is off the chart, it is a great. I love the look of the textured Ti .
Yes my G10 version is way smoother than the others.

I tend to agree. It’s fantastic in G10.
I can see like a $50 upcharge for full titanium, but $200 is definitely Hinderer pipe smoke.

That’s pretty cool 😎. I want one ☝️
Wampum Pennsylvania is about 40 MI from me and I can't seem to get an ad20. Very frustrating
Damn that’s rough.
just go to the shop
@@johnj.baranski6553 I wish I could they don't sell from the shop
Love these knives so much, I have a g10 cant wait to get a ti version
Where can we get one?

@@ahhcrickets well glad you got one. And again can’t speak to how they worked in that deal.

@@ahhcrickets nice. I would like to check out the 20.5’s
It's funny when people complain about the gap. That makes the entire knife more beautifully ugly, rugged and utilitarian looking.
That’s the great thing we all have our own opinions and what we like and don’t like.
That we do. What is your favorite AD20 blade? Sharks foot is most popular.
@@deadvikingtrolls I like the standard drop point myself.
