Unlike the boxcar & reefer, "that you can stock 2 different boxes of cereals", Tony's is a straight hopper car. You can't mixed material in hopper cars.
E-Z track was released in 1994. The trains them selves were probably made earlier and released later for that set. My guess the locomotive chassis inside where the numbers printed on is the locomotive's date.
That's right. Most likely this set is from late 1994. The 1993 printing on the cars was the trademark for the logo/character stylization used from Kelloggs.

I think Bachmann made a PetSmart train set that used an F9 (with their logos), and probably as a cost cutting measure, also reused the Santa Fe warbonnet paint scheme.
Set this train set up on the dining room table and fill the hopper with Rice Krispies and milk, and every time the train come round get your spoon and grab a bite.😃♉
