In this video I want to talk about some features and updates I would like to see in No Man's Sky ECHOES for this Halloween. If not as a part of Echoes, maybe a new update entirely.

As for spooky helmets the one your character is wearing in this video is my favourite I have unlocked. Maybe have a spooky version with a skull for the face. It's not Skeletor but it's not not Skeletor.

It’s nearly impossible to do harmonic camp because each time I goto it the game crashes it doesn’t let me stay longer than a few seconds

How in the heck can I get a settlement on the switch or does it even have that feature. I can’t for the life of me figure out how to start to the autophage stuff for that staff

There is basebuilding but there are NO settlements in the Switch version of No Man's Sky... Unfortunately 😔
To unlock the autophage Mission and Staff you will need to complete the main story and the "A Trace of Metal" mission ( which on Switch does not require settlements. Only to create the Minotaur ).
Once you have completed the story ( "The Purge" mission ) then warp to others system where you will be prompted by the new story via a message to your ship.
Hopefully, this answers your questions 😄
Quick tip: Don't use your main ship to complete the last mission. Use a standard "C" Class ship or an unimportant ship to you... 👍😁

i've already completed the purge with main ship, it didnt bother me to repair everything. and i have warped to atleast 30 different systems since then with no quest prompting of any kind, (already did tracing metal)@@QuesterMage

Have you been to a Harmonic Camp in a dissonant system? I think you have to at least open one of these and then warp to a few systems.
