  • Welcome to our UA-cam channel! In this video, we will explore the powerful features of the Produce screen in Trotec Ruby software, where you can manage and process your laser jobs efficiently. With a clear queue view, job details, and real-time processing information, the Produce screen streamlines your laser job workflow.
Identified by the laser machine icon at the top, the Produce screen can be accessed by selecting the icon or choosing the "Push to Laser" button in the Prepare screen. Once in the Produce screen, you'll see a queue of jobs ready for laser processing. These jobs will also be displayed on the Run-on-Ruby touch screen or on the left side of the screen on a computer.
You have the flexibility to change the order of jobs by selecting and moving them within the queue. The small X in the corner of each job allows for easy deletion if needed. Job details, including the job name, selected material and thickness, and process parameters, are displayed in the center of the screen.
The switch to remove completed jobs from the queue gives you control over job management. You can choose whether completed jobs are automatically deleted or remain in the queue for future runs. Even if the laser machine and computer are turned off, the jobs will be retained in the queue.
The play and stop buttons are available for non-run-on-Ruby laser machines, allowing you to start the laser job directly from the computer. For run-on-Ruby machines or lasers with touch screen control, the laser can only be started from the laser's control panel for safety reasons.
The progress bar and estimated processing time provide real-time feedback on the job's progress. The large clock starts once the job is initiated on the laser and displays the exact processing time. An image of the selected job is shown on the upper right-hand side of the screen, providing a visual confirmation of job details before laser processing. You can use the full-frame view option to examine all aspects of the job.
If you want to delete all files in the queue, you can select the small trash can at the bottom left of the screen. To prevent accidental deletion, a warning prompt will appear to confirm the action. Once verified, all processed files will be removed from the queue.
In a practical demonstration, we'll guide you through the process of sending a file to the queue, starting the job, and processing it with the laser. You'll witness the seamless integration between the computer screen and the laser machine display.
By the end of this video, you'll have a thorough understanding of the Produce screen in Trotec Ruby and how it enhances your laser job processing efficiency.
