I supported Derek Carr for 7+ seasons and in the final 8th year I unfortunately joined the hater wagon to release him from the Raiders I was so fed up with losing, but I have woke up and realize Derek was really the one bright spot for the Raiders in 20 years of complete embarrassment. Even if Carr stinks it up for the rest of his career (he wont) I will be a big fan of his no matter what he's a, successful, well mannered, truly kind, Christian man, unfortunately a lot less of these types of men in today's world it seems.

We've seen this before. 2007 Patriots, 2009 Saints, 2002 Rams The 2024-25 New Orleans Saints have an Offensive sytem in place that's damn near impossible to defend. The only way it would even slow down is if they just happen to have a bad game. There are 6 other teams in the NFC that run the Shanahan scheme but right now, after two week, no other team is executing that system better than Kubiak and the Saint's offense. The proof is 91 points after two weeks.. thats 45.5 points per game average.

Anyone paying attention, has known Derek Carr has an amazing deep ball. How many times do you see an NFL receiver have to adjust to a deep ball that's under thrown, by a step? Or have to fade off hard to the side and leap falling sideways to make the catch? Now, how many times do you see a deep ball thrown to a speedster, that is so perfect, it makes the receiver burst a step MORE, to catch it a full yard beyond the coverage at his absolute max speed, catching it in stride, with a burst that not only beats the coverage but assures a touchdown? That pass to Shaheed was a damn fine ball. Carr isn't perfect, but he's playing very well.

Band being the first line and the second line are just the people there to dance and enjoy the music. Second lines started mostly as neighborhood celebrations over time they became part of other special events such as weddings, festivals, funerals and so on. Like when the saints won the Superbowl there was a second line in just about every neighborhood here right after it happened.

DC4 a few years ago had the highest points against of all time. Meaning he always had to OVERCOME the highest deficits of any qb ever bc his defenses were bad. Carr was always a good qb.
Feel like saints heard Bellecheck from the past. They looked dominant on the 8 minute drive in the second half as well showing they are willing to be patient and won't freak out if the big play is not there.

I've always been a Carr fan since he was with my Raiders. He's received so much unnecessary hate from so many who are supposedly football fans. He played for a bad team for years and still did quite well with what he had to work with and now he's with a team who actually good and he's showing how comfortable he is with them. They are definitely playoff caliber team
I always sung Carr's praises when he was in Oak and then LV, and I've been a fan of him for a long time. I'll also admit when he came to NO, I knew I was either about to eat every compliment I gave him and choke on em or be proven right. His first season in NO didn't give me a ton of hope that I'd be right, but we also didn't have the best team and had major O-line issues. Carr has never been a "mobile" QB, but that's what Taysom is for when you need to do a trick play or RPO. Carr is still a VERY solid QB with a big arm and pretty damn accurate throws. AK also looks back to form as well which combined with Williams makes for a lethal backfield if you don't prepare for it. We've always had a really good defense, and I think we've really started to pull back into the fold as a viable team. Much like everyone else though, I don't wanna get to ahead of myself. I'll be happy with another NFCCG appearance/win, and would be STOKED with a SB run, but as long as we aren't finishing below the Panthers and Falcons in the standings I'll consider this a good season.

Derek Carr deserves more love. He was so under-appreciated when he was at the Raiders. The dude is a DAWG and a true competitor. He might not be a top-5 QB, but he’s consistent and reliable without any off-field issues.
Carr looks like 2015-2016 Carr. He was on fire all season long for those two years until he got the broken leg at the end of 2016. He ran the ball more back then and was good, fast, tough. He’s still capable but I think Gruden coached it out of him.

Derek Carr deserves more love. He was so under-appreciated when he was at the Raiders. The dude is a DAWG and a true competitor. He might not be a top-5 QB, but he’s consistent and reliable without any off-field issues.

Carr looks like 2015-2016 Carr. He was on fire all season long for those two years until he got the broken leg at the end of 2016. He ran the ball more back then and was good, fast, tough. He’s still capable but I think Gruden coached it out of him.
