They found a cannon from the Conception, the largest of the ships in the treasure fleet, 1/4 mile off the beach from Melbourne Florida. that beach has hardly been detected. It carry more treasure than any ship in the fleet. Good Hunting!

I’m so excited I found you on UA-cam! I’ve been a treasure hunter at heart since I was a little kid. But with busy life I was t able till now to start my adventure with metal detecting! You are a true inspiration to me sir. Tonight I ordered both your books on Amazon. I currently own a cheaper metal detector. But buying an equinox this week.. my desire for this comes from the history of it... plus touching something that someone else touched 100’s of years ago... just fascinates me. My husband retires later this year. We live in Northern Ky. But we also recently purchased a little home in Alva (Ft Myers) Fl. I cannot wait to hit those beaches! I’d love to meet you and your wife one day! Or run into you detecting at the beach! Terry, some have shown great interest in your mentioning the 'wrap around' effect. I am sure you have mentioned it in other videos. Undoubtedly, the advantage of understanding 'wrap around' is not limited to the Whites' Spectra V3i metal detector. I have found very little information on 'wrap around' other than in the White's Spectra V3i manual. Where exactly did you ever study on the 'wrap around'? You done very good explaining the 'wrap around effect' recently. White's done very well in their metal detector industry, the craftsmanship is outstanding. They are also the only metal detector I am aware of that normalized their Visual Discrimination Indicator (VDI). Thanks

Wow what a history lesson I got to Sovereign GTS just wondering what size coil your using there I love to try that on mine if anybody knows thank you still trying to figure out what settings you all use on the beach with the Sovereign GT should I run all metal or leave it indiscriminate thanks again Terry
Marty leave it in discriminate but turn your threshold up so you can hear it and run the coil over your scoop. This will produce a high threshold tone, and that is a get extra weapon in your arsenal. When that tone changes stop and investigate, it's amazing what I would have missed if not for that feature. I used the 15 inch WEB coil. Good Luck. Terry.
Okay Terry thank you I'm not quite sure what a 15 inch web coil is but I'll try to Google it I did order a 21 by 17 in detech coil haven't taking it out for a spin yet but I bet this thing is heavy I should be able to find some cannonballs with this thing hahaha thanks again looking for new videos if you post any love to come down and meet you in person one day but I'm sure there's a million people that say the same thing

Terry,,, you now already but a Good explanation of the sovereigns/ excaliburs. Deepest respect from me, hunting the treasurecoast of Holland. Terschelling island , more than a few hundreds of Old ships laying in front. Oldest coin 1128. Also the reaal, and not the escudo, same like you. Regards jeffrey
Hey an ahoy! I found early 1500's about 20 maravedí's, a 1500's dagger, a ships spike all in the entrance to the Mosquito lagoon... not sure if it's a shipwreck survivor or....
I have hunted Vero but not often. This year I hunted Turtle trail quite a few times and lucked into a one reale and a whole bunch of musket balls. Good luck Terry

However, it's all the publicity about metal detecting that's inspired tens of thousands of wanna be detectorist to buy expensive metal detecting equipment and hit the beaches...On the West Coast in southern and central CA beaches ,every day , weather permitting, you're going to see literally armies of detectorist shoulder to shoulder.swinging away.... It's virtually like the 49ers during the gold rush days....A lot of the old timers who were doing well before the present mob invaded the beach.. They left in disgust....
