I really like New England. I enjoy the maps that have a lot of forest/woodsy areas; especially the northwest area of Hirschfelden where there's a lot of Red Deer and Bison and feels almost like Layton or Yukon.
Yeah NEM Is A Fun Map To Mess Around On, But Its Not A Good Run And Gun Map. It’s Good For Bow And Muzzleloader Hunting, Though.
To be honest England mountains is a really good looking map though
Its beautiful, it just doesnt play as well for my style and preferences as other maps do

That Melanistic Rind-Necked Pheasant is a beautiful trophy. As for you saying that New England Mountains is good for more than just Fox and Raccoon hunting. I will admit that you are correct; If you want to go after a lot of foxes and raccoons, got to New England Mountains.

I’m Definitely Gonna Have To Check Out My New England. I’ve Checked The South And Got A Troll Moose And A Diamond Raccoon, But My Northern Half Of The Map Is Completely Unsearched.

Layton's Just Too Foggy And Rainy All The Time
It's Also Easier To Navigate As Well Just Follow The River In The Middle And You'll Find Tons Of Animals

This is a pheasant that I want to breed, because I breed stuff like chickens, turkeys and quails, and when I saw him in cotw, I want him as my trophy too

I have been thinking about getting this game and I noticed how many dlcs there are, which ones would you recommend to start with if any?

In my opinion it’s my favorite. However they could have added a couple new animals.

A piebald super troll rusa deer
Diamond sambar deer
Albino banteng
And a albino rusa deer all on my own map
COTW needs bird dogs that will hold birds down, but increase spook distance for non-bird species.

I don’t hunt New England mountains much but it’s a decent map and I’ve gotten a great one bear
Cool they are super hard to kill though. I am loving the ambusher pack have killed a lot of wolves with the caller and that rifle is sick against the wolves definitely i have killed them super fast and the level 9 mission one on Spain i hit him so hard he flew like 5 feet away

I was able to run right on top of them and when we were hunting them in real life they hid in a bunch of brush so we had one guy go in and we walk on the outside so if they ran or flew out we would get them and he could get his three

When rancho first came out I got a melanistic pheasant but it was a female and I’m still sad about it.

To be honest, as much as I was at first hyped over New England Mountains, After some time I began to grow disappointed because aside from the map design and how beautiful it is, Its nothing special. Yes, it contains a lot of different species from many other maps but thats the core of the issue - Aside from Green-winged Teal (and the Bobcat but to be real its just a reskin of mexican bobcat) there is literally NOTHING new. I wouldnt say it is the worst map in the game but essentialy it is a map that has the least impact on the game itself. I did get a diamond Green-winged teal and Mallard on the same lake within 10 minutes so yeah, I do feel pretty good about that but honestly after that I never really played on that specific map ever again.

No disrespect towards anyone that lives in the New England area but I feel like it shouldn’t have been an idea for a reserve in the first place. There’s nothing really special and exciting about the species you can hunt there and it’s not even that special of a location.
