Award Winning Australian painter Graham Gercken was born at Southport Queensland but spent most of his life in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney New South Wales.
Predominantly self-taught, he chose oil paints as his medium and painted wet into wet, which lends itself best for outdoor painting and is the style of the impressionist artists like those of the Australian Heidelberg school.
The song “The Sweetheart Tree” was composed by Henry Mancini with lyrics by Johnny Mercer, written for the 1965 Warner Bros movie The Great Race, starring Natalie Wood and Tony Curtis. The song was nominated for Best Original Song award at the 1965 Academy Awards.

I'd love to purchase the sheet music to your arrangements if they were available as digital books. In the meantime I'm doing transcripts of some of the songs for my mom (as her requested, for personal use at home) with Musescore 😅
