This sisterhood conversation right HERE gave me my entire life!! I felt the love thru the screen. Rashan Ali you have a gift for interviewing without interviewing it’s just a conversation between sisters and I love that!!!!
I didn’t finish college or pledged, but I love your podcast. This particular episode, you two just kept it all the way real, you gave so many gems for any woman to take with her. Thank you!
This right here!!! You ladies dropped some real knowledge about sisterhood. This Zeta here is with you. Rashan please keep the podcast coming. Excellent work!.
When I think of “Boss” I think my Soror, AJ!!! Loved this conversation, especially about the real meaning of service and sisterhood. My college friend and roommate was AKA, but the letters didn’t change our friendship.
This segment registered with me in regards to sorority sisterhood. In wake of the Shanquella Robert’s passing. I thought about my daughter and her college friends who went on vacation. Her friends ( they are not AKA’s) turned on her at a party. My daughter is an AKA her brothers surrounded her and would not let anyone touch her ; they cared for her until my uncle came to pick her up!! I’m talking nothing but love!!!❤
When I pledged DST in 1984.....my cousin and best friend pledged AKA the same semester. I was just happy we all got to pledge the organization of our choice! ❤️❤️❤️. We have to follow our hearts in whatever choices we make in this life.
I love this. I've been calling myself a Americanized African for decades what's interesting is how many of us still don't want to be connected to Africa
I love this interview, and I love these two sisters. I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. It is all about sisterhood. No one has the right to judge anyone. This interview was awesome. A J , you are a true Soror. Rashan, I love you, girl, and you are a true sister as well, and you are truly appreciated ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I wish we could have more of these real and authentic types of discussions but women and especially black women can not truly speak their truth in my opinion because of backlash from spiritual organizations, workplaces, family, etc. This conversation is what some would call " kitchen table talk", but I'm glad the discussion was had
