- Trying some of the best fresh seafood in Andalusia and even all of Spain at Atarazanas fresh seafood market in Malaga! We had some of the best food in Malaga Spain at this market, there was so much variety of food but the stand out was the fresh fish fry at Mercado Central de Atarazanas.
They also had a lot of other produce and food besides seafood such as Iberico Jamon, fresh fruits, almonds, olives and much more. We were also able to try dog fish aka shark, calamari, conchas finas, fine clams, oysters, fish fry and much more delicious food in Malaga, Spain with our food guide Hanni Martini.

eating at the central market in Malaga is a scam. I don't recommend it, they are unscrupulous thieves, especially for tourists who don't speak Spanish. They don't even present the menu card, to account for excessive prices. Do not let yourself be fooled.
Wholeheartedly disagree with this comment! I’m sorry it sounds like you have had a bad experience but it’s really not the case on the spots we visited in this video.
Sorry that you have had one bad experience but there usually are boards out with the days prices per ration or dish or if not...ask. What did you order??? Don't just blame all the market.
