I use this little genius device for everything - connecting pedals on the desk using my usb hub as energy delivery, using helix stomp (with adapter) on battery power with a powerbank, using the wong compressors di out to connect to my camera on the go etc. No hum, no noise, nothing. This is just EXCELLENT.
This is awesome! We have a lot of events off grid and like to have bands play. The sound of generators in the background kinda detracts from the music! We've learned to run longer power cables but it you can get six hrs out of a little battery like that I think it's definitely worth it
I wish I could post photos here, but the Cioks 4 is more than enough power for the biggest of pedalboards. It sounds crazy, but I run a board with no less than 12 pedals that are powered exclusively by the Cioks 4. If you are at home and want a second board, just get a Cioks 4 instead of buying a huge PS and you'll be absolutely golden!
I used the usb c input and had a lot of noise. I have the dc7 but the 24v is going to the crux for my hx stomp. I just swapped it with an old asus 19v laptop power supply and now there's no hiss whatsoever. I've filled up a pt classic pro with zero noise and I'm super satisfied with it, finally.
I'm curious about adding the battery to a DC7. Will it put power through the dc7 the way you applied it to the DC4 here? I want to be able to use standard main power normal and add a battery backup.
@@ScottMacLeodCompany you will still need power somewhere for the device that will amplify your POD Go (PA, Power Cab...) And if you mean that you will use headphones, that sounds like a very complicated version of the Waza Air.

Off the grid feature makes this product a powerhouse!
the duck in the 3D glasses is my favorite!
That happy pup at the end has enough power to run a warehouse of pedals, but it really does a number on the lawn.

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!
When you have used your allotment of electricity for the week... coming soon... you will have to do this.
USB-C is not neccessarily 5V ... Could be more, depending on USB-C Protocol

@@EytschPi42 you mean snobbish foolish pride... right?
Is this what we call a solution to a problem that does not exist ?😉
No. Pod go 100%wireless is a good thing.

Pod Go cioks4 + battery powered small PA speaker with Bluetooth to play backing tracks and your golden.
A car battery, a transformer, some diodes ... done. Oh, sorry, forgot, you have to have some knowledge. Bummer.
