    Quick one is stock bricks 🧱 dearer then normal bricks is so why just thinking about it was all + thank for doing the vid as your on yours ones and maybe one day u could show me how to lay not for work/money won’t lie but maybe to teach me something in a different way ie life and your special human I can see this so thanks again for shareing with all of us UA-camrs take care hope Famo good 👍 p.s more vids

    Lovely job deano it will look really nice when it’s all finished, don’t be to afraid of doing to much brickwork in your house I understand what you’re saying don’t want to go over the top with it but I don’t think you will it’s not like you’re going to have brickwork in every room and it’s nice to see brickwork inside a house and especially with you being a bricklayer to that’s your passion
    gives it a lot more character rather than have your standard traditional walls everywhere see what I did there lol, smashing job mate as always.

    Why didn't you keep the brick out 3/4 inch and plaster up to the bottom of the brick or are you putting a panel up or something

      Should really be using lime .cement goes off to hard no movement for those old stocks

    Could anyone tell me how bat insulation works in the cavity ...and does it not get saturated with water.. do you have to put warmboard on the inside to bring up the u values... in Ireland we use 100 to 150mm of xtraterm cavity fill wall insulation which is pir board with a 10mm air gap.. .. to get the values you want.. even if you pump a 150mm cavity you still have to put warm board on the inside

    why on a self build would you use shitty thermalites and not a stronger bloick?

      The Strength of the block is based on the Newton of the block thermalites obviously have thermal properties its a no brainer

      More than likely these blocks would be 7.3 n and that my friend would be more than enough to satisfy you and most building conditions even apartments and perhaps you should have asked TTB first without making a tit out of yourself

      12.20 eye the line thru to blockwork something out. Dunno tho I was rushed thru my apprenticeship and dont know much 🤣
