Seen your channel posted on Reddit and I have photoshop so figured I'd give this a try. I followed along (copied for the most part) but decided I wanted to add some moss over the rocks and had a surprisingly good result. I can definitely see some pixel art and music being a nice stress reliever, might've found a new hobby.

if you got an extra key that'd be awesome. i'm in such a serious bind and any little bit helps... i'm currently using piskel and it doesnt seem to have the opacity/onion skin that i want... like why can't i freakin darken the onion skin??? plus the opacity thing for shading... granted i'm sure i could find the shade i need by simple trial and error, but halving it seems so much simpler. also piskel might be an okay program, but i've noticed "glitches" on saved animations. either way, the more the merrier.
if not then i just want to commend and thank you for straight up having an awesome and fun personality, it makes tutorials easier to watch cuz it's similar to hanging out with a friend rather than going to class. i give you a classic youtube rating system of 5 stars.

well in all reality, rocks are actually rarely gray. usually they have browns, yellows, orange, reds... blues, even greens. i guess it's depends on what kind of minerals there are in the rocks.
just google rocks images and you will see that grays are actually the rarest ones that would show up.

It's been long time since this video came out, I wonder if you're still giving keys to that software.

Great tutorial! Just subscribed! I've been using Piskel but if you have an extra aseprite key it would really... "rock"!

Do you have another video about crystals? Or can you just share these crystals with me. Not to use somewhere, but to practice?

Also tutorial! I'm working on a little hobby game myself (I make my art using krita). I really struggle with rock textures and this helped so much! If you have a spare key, I'd be really grateful if I could have it, thanks again for the tutorial!

Great tutorial, I'm just starting to learn pixel art techniques. And if it's not much of a trouble, if you come across a key, I would be honored to validate it :)
